I usually use uponor fittings with the uponor pipe. I found myself in a situation where I had every fitting I needed except for 1/2” elbows and rings. These are the same price per piece and work just fine. I’m skeptical of most products outside of my preferred brand, and I was happy to see these fittings are made in Canada so my confidence was regained.

They leaked at every joint. Initially I thought I was installing them wrong and tried to contact their CS, but they weren't open on the weekends, so I looked it up, and it seemed I was installing them correctly, which would also explain why my expansion fittings from another brand were working fine. I had to toss so many sleeves and a frustrating amount of Pex A pipe because of these fittings. If I could demand a refund for the wasted pipe and sleeves I would, but I'll have to settle for just returning the fittings. I'm assuming this is a brand specific issue though, from what I've heard, Poly fittings are generally better than brass for expansion connections.
