less than stellar experience
It took over 3 weeks for the unit to arrive- it's been installed for less than a week. My water has about 260 ppm unfiltered- my zerowater could take it down to 0ppm- Clarium is running at 215 and now there's sediment in my tea kettle. Unit is correctly installed.

Thank you for your review. TDS, or Total Dissolved Solids, is the amount of dissolved minerals and metals present in water. TDS meters tell you the concentration of dissolved minerals and metals but are not an accurate measurement for contamination. Aquasana products reduce and remove harmful TDS like lead, but selectively retain or replace healthy dissolved solids like calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Great stuff
The filter was super easy to install. Did it myself. No male or tool required. Ha. The water doesn’t taste different. The flow is kinda slow but worth the filtered water.

Not impressed.
We bought this product in an effort to save some money. We were impressed at first. When water gets filtered it does taste good but if you let it set, like in a gallon container the flavor of tap water comes right back, yuck. So we were not impressed or happy .

Didn't have adapters to fit my faucet
I returned this product, even though I would have loved to have it sitting proudly on my countertop. It only had two adapters with it and neither fit my current faucet. I would have had to buy an inferior faucet in order to keep the Aquasana. I have used Aquasana in the past and I liked it.

Good water filter
Easy to install and take very little space which I was looking for since I have a small kitchen counter. I can taste the difference on the water. I’m glad I bought this so I don’t have to use the water pitcher I was using.

Great water. Internal housing needs redesign.
I've been running 2 countertop units for many years. Love the filtration and the quality of the resulting water. However, there is a design flaw with the internal twin housing that causes it to crack at the corner where the short hose connects the two filters inside. Thus, it needs to be replaced every few years. Only cost shipping is if on Water for Life, but it prevents me from giving it 5 stars. Aquasana should fix this. Surely the weakness is known. I've replaced at least 4. OTOH, Aquasana's customer service is great. If it weren't for the occasional "guts" replacement, I'd give it 5 stars.

Excellent tasting water
Easy to install if you follow the directions. I installed it by myself in about 15 min. Clear, great tasting, pure water. I haven't drank tap water in years. Until I found this great filter system, I bought bottled water. This is so much better and I use it for all cooking and washing fruits and veggies.

My 2nd countertop unit.
I've used this for years but last one broke while changing filters. Its over 10 yrs old so ordered a new one. Great tasting and reliable, its easy to install and change filters.I live by myself in a condo so just needed it for drinking water in the kitchen and easy to toggle on and off.

It leaked water as soon as started using it.
I double checked all connections before I turned the water on but it still leaked.
Turns out the seal on the input side where the hose connects to the filter housing was not installed properly at the factory, after many attempts to reseat the seal I finally got the leak stopped. I have used countertop units for years now and I might add that it is almost impossible to get the old filters out of the housing for filter replacement. Applying a small amount of plumbers grease with your finger to the threads helps making filer changes easier.

Great tasting clean water
I truly like this filter. The water comes out so clean and cold. It’s a little slower than my old 10 stage filter so that takes some getting used to but other than that it’s excellent.

Perfect for my very small kitchen
I've had the filter for about a month and so far, so great! I live in a very small condo with a very small kitchen, so my filtration options are limited. A friend had this same filter and gave it rave reviews. I thought installation was a breeze and I have not had any leaking issues, neither from the faucet or the filtration unit itself. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the unit came with a faulty diverter. I followed the directions and the video, yet the diverter sprayed water out in all directions. I was disappointed that I had to return the unit at a retail store, and a return was not able to be done online. I have been quite sick and this was definitely not a convenience. I did receive a refund though after about one week.

Cleanest water!
Super easy install! I've used a variety of water filters since moving to the American Southwest. Nothing aside from bottled water compares to how well Aquasana works. So easy!

Aquasana Countertop Review
The countertop filter system works well. It was very easy to install and the instructions were also easy to follow. This is a replacement. I wish we could have just replaced the hoses and the bottom caps as they had started to get hard to screw off. The water taste great as always and is very economical.

Overall good
Really enjoying the filter. Did not take to long to get delivered. Very easy to instal. However, package was clearly opened by someone else and missing a part. I’m assuming to remove the filters for new filters. Not sure. Didn’t overly like that everything was clearly opened by someone else, that’s why it’s only a 4 star rating. I sanitized everything and was able to connect it all together so didn’t see the point in returning and waiting longer for the product.

Filters are easy to exchange. - Use small shelf
We use a 17 mm socket wrench to exchange the filters. This type of wrench is usually found in the tool kit of the car. If there is none, chances are that one of your neighbors has one. It makes exchanging the filters a breeze. Also, we don't move the countertop filter much since we have a small shelf for it (12" W x 5" D x 5" H), which sits on the countertop between the dish rack and the wall. In this way the unit is 'out of the way', and this makes cleaning the sink and countertop so much easier.
