Aquasana shower filter
Using the Aquasana shower water filter has made a huge difference in the softness of my hair and skin. My hair coloring stays longer. It's the best thing I've done for myself in a long time!

this has not only improved my skin apperance and dryness it has also helped me with hair lost. love the fact that with the filter There is no odor on the water it use to smell like clorine. specially here in Miami the water has a lot of clorine and this helped.

Review of most recent purchase
I ended up receiving a defective product. Spent hours re-installing it over and over trying to figure out why I could not get it to stop leaking. Ended up needing to contact my son to come over to assist. What we ultimately ended up finding out is that the top piece was defective. It was replaced but after much frustration and waiting. I would still recommend and will continue to use your products as they work.

Leaking water

Overall impression of shower head replacement.
I have been using the Aquasana shower filter for a few years and I am quite satisfied with the product. However, the washer on the original washer inside the shower head wore out and your website did not list a replacement part. The website also did not sell the shower head separately so I had to buy the shower head and filter together. Replacement parts would be nice.

Great Shower Filter
The shower filter works fine. Our skin does not feel as dry after the shower and
the amount of water pressure is good. My husband had some trouble getting the old one off. I think that was due to the hard water build up. We also should have changed it sooner. We are marking our calendars now so we can enjoy the benefits sooner.

Great water filter
We really enjoy the softness of the water especially in the winter time; and knowing the contaminants are taken out is a plus!! We have used Aquasana in the past and have reordered. It works
At first I was skeptic on watching videos of people testing water and. It much difference. But after using it for a month I Defintley feel a difference in the water. My hair feels softer, the water smells better and nice on my skin. I am a male also

Water pressure is bad
I love the filtered water, but the water pressure is bad and makes me want to look for an alternative.

We apologize that the flow rate did not meet your expectations. The flow rate for this system is 2.5 GPM however, if you are located in a state that has a regulation to restrict the flow, it make be slower. Please be advised that you are welcome to use a different shower head with our system if you would like as long as it is not larger than 4.5 inches in diameter.

After a rough start, works like a charm
This filter was relatively easy to install, though it is important to understand that you need a fair amount of plumber's tape to prevent leaks from the collar. Once it's on, however, it works well, and the massage jet option is a nice addition to the showerhead.

Felt a difference after the first use
We got a shower filter and showerhead. Installation was simple and quick. My hair and skin felt different after the first shower. Everyone here has had a chance to use it and we all agree it's so much better.

Aquasana shower filter
Purchased to try and preserve wifes hair color (well water). Seemed to work for that but reduced water pressure to unusable level. Had to remove filter. Just can't use at that low pressure. Charcoal filter. Don't know what its removing but water is still 10-12 gpg hard at filter. Not a bad filter, just not for me.

Helped with our hard water
We moved into an apartment where the water is extremely hard. It was making my skin and hair so dry. So we purchased the shower head filter and it has made the world of difference, I’m buying another one for our other bathroom

Aquasana Results
Have lived in a hard water area for almost four years & it has literally fried my hair. Had bought another filter and did not see any improvement. After first use of the Aquasana filter my hair felt softer and could definitely see improvement after I styled. I have had compliments on the difference.
Excited to see after six months what the results will be. Highly recommend!

Does the job, with a couple caveats
This works great to soften water, in this case in Palm Springs; my wife's hair loves it! Negatives are 1) Even with teflon tape & appropriate torque, the connection where the device attaches leaks, just a bit 2) You likely cannot attach your favorite shower head post filter ( and the one that comes with it is fixed, can't be swiveled) and 3) Water pressure is significantly reduced. That said, a great first aid for hard water with dry frizzy hair and glass spots. I am gonna get a household system next, & go back to better shower head & water pressure.

Awful
Tried numerous times to fix the leaking. Water shoots out from the area where the cartridge meets the part you screw onto shower.

Easy, effective
Really love new filter. Was easy to install with one exception: the filter head was not screwed in securely and I got black water all over me and the floor. Once that was corrected, it was smooth sailing. No longer smell chlorine in my shower!

Easy to install, great for chlorine. I was hoping it would help remove some of the well water sediment. It made it slightly better but wouldn't recommend it for that purpose. I've had them in the past and are fantastic for city water

Why did I wait so long?
My hair color faded so fast with our softened well water and became brittle. So many hair treatments were done. After giving up my hair salon color and doing my own, I've saved hundreds of $ each month. Our skin is softer and the bathtub scum doesn't build up. THANK YOU for a great product.
