Had to return it. The door wouldn’t stay closed at all. Needed a much tighter design and probably magnets to keep it secure. The depth of the mailbox was not as deep as others and didn’t give me the look I was used to either. The side-to-side width is large and would hold a lot, but you will have to alter your wood post because of the depth.

Sturdy, very roomy, and meets Post Office and local ordinance requirements. Easily installed. Promptly shipped and delivered and well-packaged to avoid shipping damage.

Excellent new age mailbox that holds a lot of stuff

Great mailbox, quality, but you will need to replace the cotter pins after they rust out after about a year otherwise your door will fall off.

This mailbox exceeded my expectations and I love having the ability of placing large boxes (up to 12x12) in the box to be picked up by the mail carrier. And it's extremely sturdy.

This is our second Centennial XL mailbox at two different homes and we love it!! It's a great size for packages coming via USPS and adds great curb appeal.

It was not deep enough. It was also difficult to mount from inside the box. HD does not sell a mounting bracket for it.

The holes at the bottom are too wide to be directly screwed to the 4 inches post. Although a wooden plank can be screwwed to the post and mailbox in turn screwed to the wooden plate, It will be nice to have holds in the box where it can be directly screwed to the 4 inch post
