It was easy to install even for someone with little skill in home maintenance. The website was a little confusing at first but I figured it out and now feel much safer at home.

I love that I can see everything right on my phone anytime someone walks pass my front door. It also has a great view and wide angles. I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came in the mail and I don't know why, but I thought it was a wireless doorbell...If you are under that impression, it IS NOT...This has to be hard wired in and then can be accessed thru phone or computer. I think this is a great option versus some of the more expensive brands out there and offers voice and visibility to the front door out to the yard. My husband wants to yell at people and scare the kids when they get home, lol but I'm looking forward to knowing when packages have arrived and MAKING SURE that mail carriers USPS & UPS, FEDEX, etc aren't just throwing boxes around! It's also an assurance that no one is coming in or out of the house without us knowing about it, which if you have teens, can be very helpful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a clear, big, video. It’s just big enough, not too bulky. I can see my porch and my driveway with it, so I can see if there are packages or anyone trying to take them. The only downside to this, for me, was you need an Electrician to put it on because of the wiring. If it were a bit easier for regular, non wire, type of people to put on I would give it a 5.

Boy was I wrong I wish I would have gotten one years ago. This camera picks up everything and never misses a beat. The picture and quality is very clear and I can say I have no worries of being home alone or not being home because I know myself and my house are safe and protected 24/7. Definitely a must buy if your looking for one, this is the one you need.

I purchased a RING Pro and spent 3 weeks trying to get it to work with RING support and they were unable to assist. RING sent me 2nd unit as replacement and that did not work. I got to a point I just don't want to deal with RING as they don't seems to have anyone from their support that knows how to solve issue. Finally they came up with ridiculous answer stating my home is not wired to work with their Pro, which was totally a BS as I have neighbors with same wiring as my home and their systems work fine. RING just have a weak support that I do not recommend anyone. Arlo was introduced by a Home Depot customer service lady so I thought why not give it a try, nothing to lose. I got Arlo doorbell home, set it up with no issue and it has been working for 3 weeks now. Great product, easy to install, highly recommend this product to anyone thinking about getting a camera doorbell. I truly like the feature of communicating with someone at the door or ignore and have the person leave a message. Great features!

If I could give this doorbell negative 10 stars, I would do it. The "Leave Message" feature on the Arlo video doorbell has been the single worst aspect of this doorbell. This feature is so bad that we have been compelled to disconnect the Arlo doorbell and purchase and install one from a different video doorbell provider. This has been a very expensive and horrible experience. Not only is the "Leave Message" feature awful but the customer service team (or rather non-customer service team) has completely ignored a multitude of requests to make a way to disable this feature. As a result, I will never recommend any Arlo product ever.

Video door bell did not work at all.

For security reasons I purchased this video doorbell. There were no printed instructions with it and everything was online. I logged in and followed the online instructions which were perfect. Everything worked out and it appears to be a very good product.

I really wanted to like this. It fit perfectly in the space I had beside the door. The angled back plate (included in pack) aimed it right where I wanted it. Three months of video storage free, reasonable price for monthly service. Ability to ring my own doorbell chime in the house. All plusses...BUT. All was going well until I tried to get the doorbell camera to recognize and read the QR code that was sent to my phone. It would not "see" it even though I did all the suggestions they recommended. I was only 20 feet from a strong wi-fi signal. The lighting on the front porch was just enough and not too much. Still...after 3 hours of fiddling and removing/adding the app and device I gave up. Bummer. Neat little slim design and wide vision camera, but just would NOT connect. Brought it back to HD and got a refund. Then purchased the R**G brand and will install it differently. Had one before and set up was easy-peasy. Sorry, Arlo. Maybe next time. Then, perhaps ship the QR code with the product and then allow the customers phone to read it as the R**G does.

I installed and connected the doorbell. It would not stay connected. I have 3 bands on my wifi router, the doorbell would only connect to the guest network. I could not find documentation explaining how to direct the doorbell to connect to the band I chose. Multiple chats and not one person even understood my question. Could not get through on the phone and my case by e-mail only resulted in them e-mailing documentation that had nothing to do with my problem. I returned the doorbell, this model is just too temperamental.

Our schedules are all over the place, so it's nice to be able to keep a consistent eye on our home. It's also nice to be able to look out for one another, even if we aren't home. It's an added bonus that our phones ring, rather than the doorbell, so the dogs don't go crazy as much!

It´s a little slow to conect, so most times when it detects motion by the time the image appears there is nothing there... but works about fine as a doorbell, I only have 2 days with it installed.

Nice product. Works as advertised. Excellent video and audio quality. Installation was a little tricky since we have two doorbells connected to our chime. Smartphone video installation instructions were critical.

Easy to hook up. My only issue is it does not bring up the camera on Echo device but does make aware of movement through alexa.
