Approximately 25 percent of tiles arrived DAMAGED. Called about return and told to take to store. Took to store and told PARTIAL BOX NOT RETURNABLE. I had already installed the good tiles. When I emailed, was told to send photos of damaged tiles and STORE CREDIT would be taken off next purchase. Customer service for this item UNACCEPTABLE.

Worked perfectly to replace some 12" x 12" T&G water damaged ceiling tiles in a finished basement. They are a little fragile, which is why the four stars, but they are similar material to most ceiling tiles and can be touchy.

Bought as a replacement product for older Armstrong ceiling tiles....
Bought as a replacement product for older Armstrong ceiling tiles. These are a little bit thinner and a lot more fragile; just FYI. The edges crumble pretty easily. But it's a good match for what I had.

Ceiling Tiles to thin
The acoustical celing tule is only 1/2 inch of thickness. Is so thin that breaks apart when you start installing

You may have received defective tiles as well, which we apologize for. You can return your tiles to your place of purchase with proof of purchase for new material or refund. This is the worst ceiling tile product known to man....
This is the worst ceiling tile product known to man. The first tile I picked out of the box broke from my fingers’ slight pressure on the tile. The contractor installing the tile cursed the product because he couldn’t keep from breaking each and every tile we try to install. The company, Armstrong, should be ashamed that day con the public with such a shoddy product. Don’t buy this product because you will be disappointed.

The tongue edges were a little weaker then I thought, so handle with care, but other than that they were square and fit together nicely. Used a power stapler to attach them and it worked just fine.

Difficult to install to an existing ceiling, especially with no instructions attached. Pattern as close as possible to no-longer-produced Deep Fissure. Would love to do without, based on their fragility, but needed to repair some damaged tiles. Recommend only for those with patience.

Matched Our 1960 Ceiling Tiles Perfectly
We had a water leak from our 2nd story master bath which dripped onto the ceiling tiles in our 1960 built home. Installation was an absolute BEAR. The tiles are quite fragile and 1 box of 40 tiles was juuust enough to get the job done.

These look great in pictures, but not in reality. We did two rooms in our basement with these and it was a struggle to keep them looking even. Both rooms now have wavy ceilings and we used a contractor who's ceiling work we had seen before so he knew what he was doing. The price is what led us to choosing these. The quality is why we returned 15 of the 25 boxes

The delivery time was good and the packages arrived at the local Home Depot undamaged. The product was as I remembered since I used it many years ago in my basement. I was replacing some old tiles that had to be removed for an upstairs renovation.
I thought the price was very high but I had no choice since I wanted to match the old tile. The new tiles were very white but the old tiles had yellowed. It's just an exercise room with lots of storage so it's fine.

Depending on the environment the tiles are in, sun exposure, dust/dirt collection on the tile, etc. the tiles can discolor or yellow over time. The new tiles are all painted with our standard white color which would explain why they don't completely match but is to be expected.
