A number of the rivets in this order took very...
A number of the rivets in this order took very little effort to “set”, which is not a good thing. I was concerned with several to the extent I removed and reinstalled with what I’m hoping will be a more secure rivet. Not sure I would buy again.

It is a good idea to put a backer washer...
It is a good idea to put a backer washer on the backside of the rivet. Home Depot does not stock them. The competition that starts went M has them.

Rivet length is 5/8, not 1/2.
The useful gripping thickness of a 5/8 rivet is 1/2, so maybe the manufacturer is trying to keep things simple for folks.
Except, their diagram on the box labels the rivet length at 1/2, which is wrong, and misleading.
Whatever. I needed 5/8, so I am happy about this, but figured others would want to know.
