I purchased this product to take care of the "Mite" problem I have on a few of my house plants. I previously used an insecticide spray that worked just fine and thought this product would work as well instead of using a toxic spray and saving money over the long haul of possible reoccurring infestations. After using the Zapper for one week I found no evidence of dead bugs in the tray and still had "Mites" on my plants. Perhaps the Zapper is not intended to be used for this pest problem?

We have about 40 free range chickens which seem to be always near the house. In addition to that we are between a horse pasture on one side and a cattle pasture on the other. All of that equaled a very bad fly problem. We always had lots of nasty flies in the house especially in the kitchen. The flies would come in the house anytime someone went in or out. Since we set this zapper up in the kitchen, the flies are gone. Weird thing is I don't see a lot of flies in the catch tray. I'm not sure it actually kills them 100% of the time or maybe just stuns them or burns off their wings. I'm not concerned how it does it but they are gone and we are extremely happy with this product. Obviously I use it inside but one night we tested it outside and it sounded like a fireworks show. The thing draws in the bugs like a magnet. pop pop pop! I turned it off because I didn't want to kill every insect around my house. There is one down side. The sound it makes as it sends a fly into the next life is VERY LOUD. And since it's random, it does tend to startle a person. I guess we've learned to tune it out somewhat but it's not possible to become 100% immune to that shorting popping sound. It's like the old cap guns we used to play with back in the good old days.

The reason I purchased this unit is in Florida we have a high number of mosquitoes and when I open my garage door to work on the car I usually get a bunch of them coming in to keep me company. I tested this unit two ways, in the garage where I knew I had a few mosquitoes, left it on for about an hour.... no dead mosquitoes. My next test was outside where mosquitoes were visible, flying around me, I turned the unit on and again, not one dead mosquitoe. The reason I did not give this unit one star was because it seems to be built well and may work well for other flying insects. Really wish this thing had worked.

Probably works great but as I read in the Arizona mosquito website --- DOES Not work for Arizona mosquitoes

I purchased this zapper because I was having an issue with gnats and flies slipping into the house every time I came home. I placed the zapper on top of the refrigerator, right next to the Kitchen entrance near my driveway. After about twenty minutes, I heard a loud "POP!". I went to the zapper, and there was a dead gnat about three inches away. This zapper is VERY effective. Keep in mind that some of the bugs will be recoiled from the unit with such velocity that they will not land in the catch tray below... allow for a "blast radius" of up to eight inches in every direction. This is a great bug zapper for inside the house. However, it sounds like someone shooting a gun when a bug get zapped. It is extremely loud. So be prepared to jump out of your skin when a bug get zapped. Other than that, you will live in a bug free house.

I have had this product for 5 months now. This product is great for keep my home free of flying insects. Great for barbecues were kids are running in of out my home.

We purchased two zappers about a month ago; we have only used one but that one is broken and does not work. Do not know the reason why it is not working, the light bulb no longer works. Hope I can get a refund or have a new product sent to us. Lets see how the second holds up.

It does work but doesn't draw in gnarly gnats I deal with. House flies are drawn to it like a moth to flame. If you are buying to rid house flies it is a deal, gnats not so much.

I turn it on if there are insects in the air and it fries them........POW! Then I turn it off. I imagine it will stay on as the season progresses. I hung it in an out of the way corner. Someone needs to notify the insects that they are supposed to fall strait down onto the little shelf, as the hardly ever fall there.

I was skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a try. I was blown away by how many flies this thing killed. I have a restaurant in the city, and even if we have the restaurant spotless clean, flies still come in. We kill about average 10 flies a day. Customers stopped complaining about flies sharing their food. This is a great machine, but I had to make one modification. I cut some sticky fly trap and put it on the tray, so that all the bugs will land and not go anywhere. Some of the bugs get zapped, but they get back up and fly away. This is worth every penny and I highly recommend it.

This zapper is has been great for killing the mosquitoes and moths that try to make their home inside my trailer.

For some odd reason around Indian summer I get this pesky Little nats in my home. I have no idea where they come from or what causes them. I was spending way too much on spray to kill them and I was driving myself crazy chasing them. I decided to go online to find something to rid myself of these annoying little things and I came across The indoor Zapper insect Killer. It instantly changed my life for the better. I was no longer having to chase these little buggers all around my house, I no longer am slapping myself (literally) in the face when they would buzz around my head. I am elated I purchased this product. It sits out of the way and does its job.. now only if I could train my husband to do the same thing lol Must have for sure

This product works really well, my only problems was that the bottom collection tray was missing, and i had to call the company to sent be a replacement, and the item has alot of scratches here and there which makes the item seek used. But i would buy again because it works really well.
