After spending hours assembling- the bed was sat on & immediately broke. Thankfully Home Depot was amazing when we returned the item!!

Atlantic furniture goes to the painstaking trouble of wrapping each and every piece of this cabinet separately with protective wrap; direction made it easy to assemble; very comfortable mattress. Excellent purchase

A couple of missing holes and the lower door does not clear well with the structure. It could have used another 1/8" of clearance. Otherwise pretty good quality and easy to assemble.

After setting up our murphy bed, we had a part that was defective. Contacted the company, they replaced it promptly! Great product! Space saver! Very comfortable! Highly recommend this product!

Fell apart on first use

The only drawback is that when it is open, it is too low to the floor. it would work for young people but for an older person, it could be hard for them to get in and out of it.

Purchased for a studio condo. Fits purfect and mattress is very comfortable. Nice looking once assembled. However the assembly took about 4 hours. Need 2 people. The Allen wrench screws took forever to screw in and the back and drawer base panels are a bit flimsy. All in all happy with the bed.

Overall found to be good product. Was disappointed with the finish quality of the paint in particular when closed. Was thin and in some places missing not what I expected for this price.

Should come assembled. Assembly takes a little of time. Other than being heavy and a little bulky a good product.

One of the beams already broke off. The piece is beautiful looking but not the best quality. If you're only using it every now and then it's fine but I wouldn't rely on this if you're furnishing an AirBnB. It will get destroyed within a few months.

It’s a great solution. It’s also very large, square and grey. It took a while to put together. If you don’t like those kinds of projects, this furniture isn’t for you. Pulling the bed out is simple. It’s comfortable, and it was the right solution. I just wish it was more aesthetically beautiful.

Overall happy with the product and it's appearance, however, it is not near as sturdy as I would have hoped. The bend down leg brace holding the bed is flimsy. It requires being very careful getting on and off the bed

Assembly was easy. Material used for construction is not the best. Two major issues. Once I put it together I noticed that the side piece was cracking and I had to screw in a metal band on each side of the crack to keep from splitting further. Second issue is that the back piece rattles badly because of the design. I had to slip pieces of folded paper into the rear slot to limit the rattle. Mattress is comfortable and the piece looks good when closed. It’s a nice option for an extra bed that’s not used everyday. Closing up the mattress and bed is a bit difficult.

This chest bed looks great in pictures but the reality is this is very cheaply made product. Honestly this item is worth $500 not $1500. I bought this and assembled in a few hours. For the price I paid I expected a quality product with real wood. I was wrong. The first night it was used by a 200 pound adult one of the mattress support struts snapped making the mattress sink into the frame. This is was not from misuse, just normal getting in and out of the bed. Maybe this would work for kids but any adult(s) that use it will need to be asked to move very slowly with no sudden movements. Atlantic Furniture should be ashamed of this product. With great effort I returned it yesterday. Do not but this bed.

I must say that overall I am displeased with the quality and quality control of this bed. To get the bed to fit into the cabinet I had to re-notch two of the hinge spaces on the Front Rail. The right side latch hook had to be bent back in place to lock correctly. The wood screws are of very low quality, stripping two during install. After assembly, the side rail broke when I set on it. Customer service quickly supplied replacement parts. Would not recommend.

Guests who slept on it said it is super comfortable. It’s easy to setup and tear down!

If you have carpet the bottom drawer will have trouble opening for storage. Will open with bed though. Nice piece.

This was a great purchase and looks great. Needed an extra b d for guests. Put it in my library and looks like a piece of furniture that matches the built in walnut bookcases when not in use. I like the bottom drawer for holding the sheets and pillowcases too.

It is a very nice piece of furniture a very comfortable to sleep on

This is nice looking and fits our needs. However, the piece that supports the bottom third of the bed is not strong and broke as my daughter (140 lbs) was laying on the end of the bed. She had been on for 10 minutes or so, and it just broke. They are sending a replacement piece, but I fear it could happen again, especially if a larger person sat on the end. I think we will put a foot stool or two under that end (or something else to add support) when we have guests. This is not a bed you'd want kids to jump on. We do think it will be fine under most circumstances. My 180 lb son slept on it with no problems, but his weight was evenly distributed.

The bed is a perfect addition to my office/guest room I sleep in it when I’m in town. Didn’t want a dedicated bedroom and the memory foam mattress sleeps well

Cabinet was pretty easy to assemble. Only a slight problem with some of the holes lining up. But all said and done, this is an excellent and well made heavy duty product. We love it!!

What was received did not in any way look like the on-line photo. Color was off. Interior wood matched. The exterior is dark brown and looks like the wood was scraped by a wire brush and that makes the finish very uneven. Would not recommend this product.

The Slats on this bed buckle when you sit on it. It’s only a matter of time until it breaks. We put plywood down under the mattress so that it wouldn’t break on our guests that were in town for Christmas. Also squeaky when you move and sits kinda low. I wouldn’t recommend it for the money. Find something with more support in the bed frame.

Nice product and a real piece of furniture.

I selected a chest because we seldom use the small bedroom. I have had it for 2 months and the grandkids used it once and liked it. I like being able to keep the sheets and blankets in the drawer. The biggest drawback is the assembly. The little screwdrivers take forever to get a screw in. One of the screws went through and poked a small hole in the side which we had to patch. Works well for what I had in mind.

It was easy to put together if you have two people - one person would be challenging. The instructions were easy to follow and it looks great!
