Great set up BUT... they need to make the hole in the lid slightly bigger so you can put the thermometer through it. Hence, I had to drill it to make it bigger.

Worked really well. Perfect capacity for a turkey and for boils too. The pot and accessories are made very well.

The pot is of great quality. I bought it for frying turkeys. The only problem I had was the inner perforated pot would not fit all the way inside and down to the very bottom of the big pot. I took a hand- held DeWalt ginder to it, grinded down the outer lip so it would fit all the way to the bottom.

Impressed on the way my turkey did turn out. Love it. Convenient to have all the accessories that comes with it. Was great and would definitely recommend others to try and have this rigid pot and it's easy to use gadgets. Next one, steam/boil crabs and lobsters. Gave it a 5 star. Good job!

i have owned and cooked with turkey deep fryers for a few years. The Bayou deep fryer is a high quality construction stainless steel, the maximum level marker in the pot which is very handy. It cooks chicken and turkey evenly. I would recommend this to anyone looking to deep fry.

A friend of mine cooked a turkey in about 1 hour in one of these. The turkey came out tasting awsome. I would highly recommend this to some one. You just have to get the base for the pot to go onto.
