Multiple Uses- This rack is useful in at least two different ways; I used it for baby back ribs on my smoker. The rack allows you to cook ribs vertically rather than horizontally giving you extra room for other food items. I feel this is the best feature of the rack.I did find it was difficult to remove the ribs from the rack once they cooked. When raw, the ribs are flexible and slipped into the rack with ease however, once cooked, the ribs are rigid and kinda locked in to the rack. It was difficult to remove them with tongs. Rack cleaned up easily with soap and warm water. I would recommend this rack as another option for your outdoor cooking tools but, I can't see using it every time I cook ribs.

I have not had an opportunity to use this yet as we have five feet of snow around our barbecue so it is out for commission for a while! The rack is very well made and allows for six ribs of pieces of chicken to be stacked. The rack is only six inches wide so I have some doubts whether it could hold a whole rack of ribs, but as my wife and I like the boneless ribs, this will be perfect for us.

The BBQ Rib and Roast Rack is 14" long and 8" wide. The dome sits 4" above the grill. The distance between rib holders is 1 3/4". If you flip it over, you could roast a brisket on it. There are wire handles on both ends, making it easy to lift and maneuver. It is really light weight, so easy to pick up. The rack has a non-stick ceramic coating, so clean up should be real easy. It comes with a one year limited warranty.

I ordered this rack because it offers a dual purpose – to roast or smoke racks of ribs or roasts. It works by flipping the rack to the desired orientation. It is a good size for both my pellet smoker and by gas grill. My first use was with two five-pound pork butt roasts which I smoked for 10 hours at low heat on my pellet smoker. The roasts fit nicely without touching each other. The base of the rack will only work in one orientation on my grate because the grate bars run parallel to each other and the rack base will fall into a space. This is not a problem for me as I placed the rack in a shallow baking pan to catch the drippings and keep them off the grate and I will stick with that method when cooking a roast or ribs. This rack will become a regular tool for me as it held the roasts out of their own grease during the slow smoke – the results were delicious. The rack looks like it will hold up to many smoking sessions. I was a bit disappointed in the porcelain coating which rubbed off during cleaning. To clean I used extra strength Dawn, sprayed on and left for about five minutes, then wiped off with a sponge. No abrasive pad was used.

I tried the unit as a rib rack on a traditional domed QQB/Smoker grill. It sat too high on the grill base to effectively permit the dome to seat without coming into direct contact with the ribs. It is the design of the grill which imposes this limit\, not the rib rack. Flipping it over and centering under the dome, it can be effectively used as intended for holding a modest sized roast. (Your choice, pork or beef.) Next I checked clearance on a gas fueled grill. Positioning from front to rear, sufficient space was available to place it on any burner unit without slipping beyond the grill base units. Unfortunately the weather has turned unfavorably to effectively evaluate this unit during grilling sessions. I would gladly update you once we get above the freezing point outside.

This rack works perfect for chicken or turkey. The bird just sits in the rack and we turned the smoker on and 2 hours later it was done perfect. It keeps the skin crispy and the chicken was juicy. We also tried it with ribs but wasn't as easy and after when we added the BBQ sauce on the ribs the sauce would stay on the rack when we tried to take the ribs out. But worked perfect for chicken and turkey.

I don’t barbecue ribs, so this will be given to my son as a gift. If you have a large capacity grill or smoker, this could be a useful accessory. Fairly simple design, it can hold six racks of ribs, or be turned upside down to hold a chicken or roast. The product description indicates the black finish is non-stick. BBQ DRAGON EXTRA-LARGE COMBINATION RIB AND ROAST CHICKEN RACK FOR GRILL I like the design of this grill rack. It is of a size that it will fit any size of charcoal or propane grill. It gives your grill the ability to hold up to 6 racks of ribs in one position and a chicken when turned upside down. My photos are for demo purposes as it's 20 degrees out and I couldn't actually fire it up. I am going to use it setting in a pan in my convection oven which I believe it will work allowing the grease to drain.

You can easily fit six ribs in this roast rack to save space and grill them simultaneously and evenly on your BBQ grill. If you want to do a whole bird then just flip the rack over and you can roast a full chicken in this! Next time I'm having people over for a BBQ, this will make the grilling so much easier and quicker. Also, the non-stick coating assures that your meat doesn't stick and cleaning is a breeze. Overall, great build quality, easy to clean, durable grill and roast rack for all your BBQ needs!

I was able to cook 6 racks on it at the same time and it really saved a lot of grilling space compared to cooking them without a rack and they came out tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. I definitely won't cook them any other way again.
