I'm very pleased with the way my storage shelf laminate...
I'm very pleased with the way my storage shelf laminate came out - it looks like a new piece of furniture. The cabinet was white laminate. So I used the Behr Chalk Chocolate Swirl Interior Chalk decorative paint as a primer - I waited 24 hours and then used Behr Ultra Scuff Defense / Ultra Interior Satin Enamel - Brown Velvet

I am very fond of Behr's chalk paint. I love the smooth feel. This lady bug red ended up looking a little to orange for me. To make it darker and a bold red like in the color example photo I used dark wax. It ended up working great and the color turned out perfect.

Great paint!
This paint goes on smoothly and covered in one coat. It was not quite the color I expected. I ordered undersea which looks like a deep green and the color I got was a deep navy. It was still beautiful! I used this paint in another color for a different project and it was exactly the color I expected!

Absolutely beautiful, best chalk paint there is!
This paint is my absolute, all-time favorite for DIY projects! So far I have refinished two furniture pieces and this chalk paint was an absolute star. I used the shade farmhouse white to paint both my old hutch as well as a small floor cabinet; both pieces were originally brown wood, and with some light sanding, this white was able to cover opaquely in 2-3 coats! I am so incredibly impressed and will absolutely be purchasing Behr’s chalk paint in the future for more DIY projects!
