Should not have bought this "premium" paint
Bought two gallons of this paint and applied it the same day. Unfortunately, this paint dries TOO fast ... although the temperature was not excessively high and the humidity was not excessively low, the paint develops a film incredibly fast, so rolling back to the "wet edge" really means rolling back to a partially dried paint film, which then peels away from the wall and leaves a rough surface. I've got a whole bunch of sections to sand smooth and recoat after they've had a few days to dry.

Hi bjhaines, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear the paint was drying too fast, making it hard to work with. I assure you this is not the experience we want for our customers. A helpful tip when the paint is drying too fast is to add up to 4 ounces of water per gallon container to extend the working time. To fix the areas that dried with texture, let the coating dry for 24 hours, gently sand the surface smooth, clean off any residue, and touch up or recoat. Customer satisfaction is important to us. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
I’ve used Behr products for 20 years and have never been so disappointed as I am with this paint. It’s supposed to be a paint and primer but there’s no way it’s that at all! It was so thin and runny it was like trying to paint the wall with milk. For a job that should have only taken 1/2 the day, it took the WHOLE day and more gallons of paint. For $65 a gallon, I will go back to using the competitor brand and have confidence that the paint will do what it says it will do!!

Not as good as promised
I have used Behr paint for 20 years and have never been so disappointed in a paint. It was like painting milk on the wall it was so thin I wanted to call Home Depot to make sure they added in the right chemicals when adding the color. Definitely did not seem to be a paint/primer in one for sure. For a project that hours have only taken 1/2 a day, it ended up being the whole day a two gallons ($65 a gallon) to do the job. Next time I will use another brand to save myself the frustration.

Good paint, but does not cover in 1 coat
This paint is a good quality paint, however the advertising is misleading. We had to paint 3 coats to achieve a smooth, full coverage over a new white wall in a new home. Two coats could've sufficed if you don't pay close attention to detail, however I was not happy with the coverage with only two coats. I know painting with a dark color can be cumbersome, but I expected more for such an expensive paint. I debated between Sherwin Williams and this paint.

This paint is trash
I've never used Behr paint before, & now I know why. I typically go to our Benjamin Moore paint store but traffic in our beach town was crazy so this is how we landed with this trash paint. I got a gallon of ultra & a pint of this dynasty. My son's room has only 1 full wall. This gallon BARELY 2-coated his room. This is ridiculous to me. We spent more for the dynasty & it is NOT a one coat paint! Both are EXTREMELY thin, with dynasty smelling SO strong. Spend the extra few $ & get better paint.

Paint is such good quality !! One coat coverage!

Even after washing my shortcut brush and wrapping it in a paper towel as I usually do the brush the next day was rock hard. So imagine the durability of the paint! It was worth the sacrifice of 2 shortcu brushes!
