Great paint!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just finished painting my living room, kitchen and den using Behr dynasty matte finish in Midtown. It went on easily, and covered old color. It flows well and blends nicely using a roller or a brush.

I think its because if the plastic can that through out the whole job i had to pick flecks of dried paint off the walls and the paint is too thick to put through a strainer

That is not the performance we expect of our products, and we appreciate your feedback. Our Dynasty Paint should have an even and creamy consistency and be free of any dry paint. If that is not the case, I recommend stirring the product for around 5 minutes to get it to the correct texture and avoid any flecks of paint. Been a professional painter for 25 years. Expected this product to cover better for the price and as advertised. SW Emerald is a better product for less money. And Home Depot removed any discounts. More SW less Behr...

We are professional painters and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of Behr Dynasty paint. We will be using this again! The only downside to delivery is that they use FedEx.

Best paint you can buy!!
I’ve been painting for 30 years anybody who bad mouths this paint simply doesn’t know what there doing!!!! If your painting over dead flat wall paint any paint including Dynasty is gonna take two coats even if your painting it the same exact color!!You cant put a washable flat over a dead flat and only do one coat!!! It will be all streaky!!!

Love the color and it covered nicely, but the best part was the knowledge the younger gentleman had in the paint isle!! He was very helpful and answered all my questions on my project. Painting table and chairs if I needed wax suggested Behr dynasty, and he was right No Wax. Monticello MN

It says one coat but you definitely need like 3 coats to achieve the color

Definitely not worth the price… did not have any stains and still had to do 2 coats to cover light color previously on the wall; will not buy again.

Perfect warm black color. Exceeded expectations. Paint is as advertised - single coat coverage is all you need. I have textured walls and the matte paint looks great.
