I will never buy Behr paint again. I applied this paint in the Perfect Day color to the ceiling of the room I was working on. I masked the wall to get a good edge on the division between wall and ceiling. When I removed the masking it tore the paint because it had not adheared to the ceiling. I then corrected the tear out and waited another 24 hours.I appied masking to the ceiling and painted the walls Blue Bird Day. I carfully used a box knife to insure that there wasn't any tear out from the masking. The masking tape pulled a strip of paint off the celing the width of the tape. I used Frog Tape sold in your paint department. I subsequently had to repaint the edges of the ceiling and wall where they met. If the paint won't stick to the wall, it is an inferior product.

I wish I was able to give this a negative review for product and customer service. They paint was drying before applied. Didn't cover and peeled. Contacted customer service and they didn't follow through..

Covered chocolate brown in one coat

It is a thicker paint and goes on well. Did take two coats to cover the green paint with a white.

The best paint I ever used but for the last 10 years I've always used Behr when I really wanted great results. It covered in one coat but took more than my liberal estimate. Thought that I needed a little under a gallon. Had to go back and get another gallon but I have to say you can't tell any color difference from one gallon to the next even though I didn't mix them. Highly recommended.

Wow, I picked a red color, in the past unless I used a tinted primer, I had to do many coats...but this paint really one coat did it!!

Another great paint project! I LOVE Marquee paint! Truly one coat coverage in brilliant colors. The Gulf Waters blue is gorgeous. It will add brightness to your room. I used it in a bedroom but the color could be used about anywhere - especially in a more tropical environment where this color is "expected".

The paint itself is INCREDIBLE. We covered a glittery red wall in one coat without primer. However, the color was more blue than we would have liked (appeared to have more green online).

This paint is truly one coat paint. It was recommended to me by a painter. He said in all his experiences with it he's never had to resort to a second coat. When I went to Home Depot to select the paint, the associate asked me what color I was covering. I told him it was a hideous blood-red color that was in my bedroom since I bought the house and I couldn't wait to cover it up. He said it might not cover with one coat, boy was he wrong. I bought two gallons just to make sure and now I've got a whole gallon left so I guess I'll be painting another room. This is really nice paint, great coverage and the finish is beautiful. Don't hesitate to buy it, it's great stuff.

I was impressed with the coverage of the paint. I had a light color...almost white with a touch of green in it. And we painted over a dark Orange/ rust color paint. There were only about half a dozen spots on a large wall, probably 10' my 10', that I had to touch up because I could see a bit of the orange coming through. It's difficult to speak of the durability or wash ability of the paint since we just applied it yesterday. But so far the experience has been positive.

Absolutely the best paint I’ve ever used ! It is everything it is promised to be, one coat covering, I didn’t need to do any touch up which is a first in my experience. Finally a product that truly delivers on its’ promise!! I am very satisfied and have recommended it to friends who are contemplating redecorating their homes this spring.

While this paint color is very nice and I can't recommend it enough, I cannot recommend it in the Marquee at the current price. They say it is One-Coat Guaranteed, but in my experience, it took 2 coats to cover a red wall. I purchased this type of paint as I assumed it would be cheaper as it would not need as many coats of paint, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

My dining room was a rich deep red. And I only used one coat of the Marquee tai teal. It went on beautifully and smooth. One coat coverage. Absolutely would buy it again and recommend it.

We used this paint to cover up a dark mauve color and chose the Pale Honey which was NOT a color with the one coat guarantee but it covered it effortlessly! In the picture, we had not done the cut in yet so you can see the old color to compare.

New construction primed walls with kilz primer as recommended. Used one coat good rollers. Still had to do 2 coats. Random spots not covered everywhere. Purchased to save time spent same time and a lot more cash.

Best white trim paint ever!!!!

Long story, painted my whole 1st floir in eggshell and it was great. The bathrooms and back splash in satin were horrible-so bad i had to sand in between coats!!. I thought ut was the paint-bought new paint, not cleaning well enough, then i biught new brushes, then i tried a new room-no change. The paint splatters, its so heavy it drips, you cant touch any inch you’ve just painted or it will take the paint off and ball it up on your wall, it has taken 3 coats so far! Again, the eggshell was great in all cans and colors i used. Im swearing at them allowing the satin to be put on the shelves I have a lit more photos where that came from!!

This paint is great, it is really is one coat. It looks great and was very easy to apply.

When I paint I use Marquee, only one coat needed,, works great!

We had a wrecked wall that we had to repair and skim coat. I don't know if it was our wall skills (doubtful) or this paint, or a combination of both, but it looks perfect! Can't tell there was ever a problem. I love the paint and color and the whole room looks great.

I love this paint, it actually covers with only one coat. It came out beautiful. Great value.Aleady got more for my next project.

Used in a garage with old yellow drywall. Painted over it with one coat! We only use Marquee, it is by far the best.

This paint is phenomenal! Painted over orange walls in basement. True one coat coverage over the drywall walls. Put two coats on poured cement walls to cover the natural imperfections. Best paint I have ever used and only used a gallon and a half instead of three I thought I would need.

I've used too of the line competitors paint and all I can say is "holy cow!" Behr Marquee, satin and eggshell paint is amazing! No smell, full coverage with primer and true to color swatch. Goes on smooth, no streaks. Amazing coverage. I love this paint. It made painting a breeze. I used 1 gallon for entire befroom, over an existing color and have paint to spare. Worth every penny.

I really love this product the color is so rich and beautiful I can’t stop looking at the walls. I bought the color storm cloud I’ve use this color into rooms already I think it’s a hit

I used a Home depot roller with this paint and it pulled the fiber from roll and stuck to wall. I had to sand the entire wall. Then I used a wooster pro roller, same thing happened. I contacted Behr , they acnologedge my questions , then had no follow up or suggestions , nothing for $56 gallon of paint , will never use again, Behr was my go to paint, not been same since they came up with 3 products instead of just standard paint. The basic is like water, the middle paint primer ok, still need's two coats. Will never buy the Marquee again. BEHR customer service worthless.
