This product is average; it lacks opaqueness. I applied kilz primer before applying the behr product and it still required up to 3 coats before becoming opaque. However, the finished application looks nice.

This paint is truly bad. I painted a small room with it. When the paint dries up the results are "patchy" when you look at the wall from the side. You will be able to see shiny and dull patches. See the attached picture.
I went crazy and did 4 coats and used up 4 gallons instead of the 1.5 I should have trying to fix the problem. Still same results. The walls are still patchy. Very frustrating and costly project.
I think the problem is that the paint is too thick. So it doesn't blend in with the previous stroke even when the paint is wet.
Remember you have to look at the wall from the side, at an angle to notice the problem. Search online and see that others are having this problem too.
Not buying this again and absolutely don't recommend it.

Thank you for reviewing Behr Marquee Paint. I'm very sorry to hear about the paint flashing issue experienced, as that's not typical or what we want our customers to go through.
When the paint has a flashing/patchy look, we recommend allowing the last coat to dry for 4-6 hours (24 hrs. if possible), as the finish can even out. If the paint feels thicker than normal when recoating, it can be thinned with up to 8 oz. of water per gallon.
Customer satisfaction is very important to us and I encourage you to contact Behr directly for further assistance. We'd love to learn more about your project and find the best way to help.

We have kids and a dog. We needed this solution for our kitchen island. This is durable! Got a rental? You need this paint to reduce maintenance pain.
I have been a Beher paint user for years. This time around its the worst. I bought this to oaintbthe laundry room abd after 3 coats, it still did not cover the old paint. Switched to Maeque and still no coverage. Its taking upto two coats. Ibthink its a bad batch. Because i painted the rest if the house (inside) using Sherman Willians) without any problems. Whats worst, had to go baxk to HD, and Mgr helped me out, tge Beher rep was usekess.

Hello elgato, thank you for your review and for being such a long-time Behr customer. I'm so sorry the paint didn't cover as expected. Typically our Ultra Interior Paint will cover in 1-2 coats, though additional coats may be needed depending on the surface, application, and color. And I'm sorry to hear that you had coverage issues with our Marquee Paint as well. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team directly so we can learn more about the rest of your project and assist you further. Our team is happy to help you! -Joni

I started using premium plus recently after using a more expensive competitors paint.
An associate at home depot suggested premium plus and it was close to what the competitor paint. Then I discovered that if I added a small amount of water I had a perfectly smooth laydown with a fine brissel brush.
