I applied the product using a 1/4” nap roller which is indicated as an option. What a mistake...the directions say not to worry about milky color on application, that it’ll dry clear but mine dried with white streaks everywhere - see photos. Now I have to strip it all and try again with a different product. Next product I try will be sprayed on...hopefully that will give better results! I’m having family Over in three days and right now my wife wants to kill me! To be fair some places dried kind of OK but it’s sucks that I have to remove it all and try again! Probably work ok with a sprayer but I won’t give this particular product another chance.

#1: preparation of the area is critical. Strip the area with a commercial stripper, clean and dry; #2 apply in a very thin coat and test a strip 1st to ensure even delivery and no clouding; #3 wait until completely dry before applying a 2nd coat and repeat step #2. I had a very nice result although I cannot attest to the sealer's durability; you may also opt for adding a wax finish after the sealer ( I will not because I am too lazy). I add that the concrete floor will be rather slippery after initial application so you be forewarned

After spending thousands of dollars to have a natural stone in our backyard. Now after using Behr sealer we have milky / white ugly stone. We are so upset! We should of read these reviews before buying this disappointment and disaster. Never ever buy this product!

We had a brick deck with a cement floor built this Summer. The contractor recommended sealing the cement floor. We purchased this product and applied exactly as directed. It wrecked our brand new cement floor. As you can see from our pictures the cement now looks extremely blotchy and uneven in color. We now have to determine a way to repair or replace our brand new deck cement floor.

Applied using a sealer sponge purchased from the Tile Shop onto our concrete countertops. Had previously applied waterproof sealer which did not protect the surface from dirt etc. This product went on great and with ease. Poured into a bucket, using a slightly saturated sealer sponge and applied using single strokes to top and edges. Watched for excess and wiped up with dry towel. Extremely happy with this product!!

This product worked well for me. I found that applying a very thin coat with a roller provided excellent results for my freshly painted garage floor. I made sure to backroll several times over each section, to "flatten out" any accumulated sealer. You also need to make sure you let the first coat dry COMPLETELY before you apply another coat - if you apply to early, you will end up trapping the moisture from the first (still wet) coat and it will result in the milky white residue when dry. I only applied one coat and was very pleased with the light sheen it added to my garage floor. When it dried, the color chips also "popped" and looked more vibrant. I also noticed that after drying, the floor was quite slippery when wearing socks! Very happy with the results from this sealer.

After reading the reviews about the bad experiences people had, I foolishly decided to give this product a try. I used this on a retainer wall that I just had it made for side wall of my driveway. I was so happy on how beautiful my wall looked. I wanted to protect it from the damage sun and rain can cause in time. After following every detail and recommendation on the container, I applied the Behr Low-Luster Sealent. When I applied, it went on milky. After about an hour, it seemed to have a nice vibrant finish to it. The weather also has been perfect. No rain and in temperatures in the mid to upper 70's. The following day, I went out to check the wall to see how it looked. My heart sank looking at my wall that was once beautiful prior to use of this product ruining it complete. The entire wall, including the stones and the concrete turned milky white. I immediately called Behr customer service and asked for help. They told me that I should go rent a power wash and wash it down with since the product is water based. After spending around 2 hours of power washing the wall, none of the silent came of as the stones and cement have absorbed it already. The wall looks like it is made out of faded plastic material due to the use of this product. All I got as support from Behr is a lousy reimbursement for the cost if the product and rental of the power washer. Oh, and a fancy speech on how Behr stands behind their products and make thing right if the customer is not satisfied with their product. This product may work for some people. However, in my experience, it is not worth taking the chance of ruining the area you are planing to use it on. The emotional drain in addition to what I will cost me to redo this wall can never be reimbursed in any way. Behr should definitely drain this product down the toilet.

I applied this to my garage floor exactly as directed on the container and it still resulted in milky streaks all along the floor. After painting the floor with the BEHR concrete paint/epoxy days before, I attempted to seal it all off with this and couldn’t have been more disappointed with the results. It looked fine before this so I should have just left it as it was. Nevertheless, It is super disappointing to be recommended this product by BEHR and now being unsure on how to fix it without pulling it all up and starting over. Total bummer.

Easy application. Works great I used 2 coats on my project for extra seal but you could easily do 1 coats for most applications. Clean up is easy as well.

We wanted to bring out the color in our stone fireplace. Our alternatives were either low luster or high gloss. Would loved to have had an option in the middle, like satin or semigloss. Anyway, the stones looked best during the application, then lost most of the luster when the sealer dried. Despite that, we’re happy the stones are now sealed and will be easy to clean. Liked the low odor and easy cleanup of the water based sealer.
