Worked well, you can spray it. it
I refinished our master bedroom furniture using this paint in 'shoelace' white. I was really happy with the outcome and how quickly it dried.
I sprayed it out of an hvlp gun using a 6.5 gallon compressor. I thinned with water about 15-20%. I shopped the boutique premium shop paints and hard a hard time justifying paying double what this product cost.
Tsp, sanded, sprayed water based primer, hit bleed throughs with a shellac based primer. Sprayed the chalk and then top coated with water based polycrylic because I didn't have the patience to manually rub down all the furniture with wax.

If you are using this paint on Mahogany Finish it...
If you are using this paint on Mahogany Finish it may bleed my suggestion is to use a coat of shellac first. The Primer did not stop the pink bleed but the finished product was fantastic.

Updated my 20 year old bedroom furniture and it looks amazing! Love this paint! I do recommend a water based polyurethane finish on top to protect it. I used 2 coats of each. I also used a wax stain on top of the polyurethane to give some detail to the wood. If the wax is used directly on the chalk paint it absorbs too much and cannot polish off, so use it last.

Best project to date!!
I purchased new flooring through Home Depot, and I also purchased Behr Chalk paint in Dark Navy and Tin White and painted my kitchen table and chairs. I also got the rug from Home Depot!!! I am still in SHOCK on how beautiful my Dining room turned out!! I just love it!!! Thank you Home Depot!! I’m am in love with the floors and what it’s done for my house!! And am so loving the way the paint job turned out!!! No detail was left out!!

I had never used this type of paint and was very happy with the results. It went on easy (wife did it) and was dry in no time. There was also no reaction to the wood no lifting of the grain so once I sanded and prepared the cabinet the wife gave it one(1) coat of this Chalk Paint and we were good to go. Finish doesn't Sit on the surface it becomes part of the wood.

very good color
It took two coats to cover an oak colored cabinet. Old color is viewable in pic. I also covered in gloss poly so texture is not viewable but it is true to color. Ordered online and was delivered. Beautiful color. Make sure to mix amything thoroughly

The color was great and accurate but did not cover my previous furniture evenly as ti was black to begin with. I am okay with the look and actually loved how it turned out as I was going for the distressed look so this brought it out, but if you want an even color definitely sand first and use a rolled as opposed to a brush..
One can was mixed in a different color but labeled with mine so before painting check your cans to ensure the all match. Also, it does not say anywhere on the site they are not returnable so I would order less if you are not sure as you can always order more so not to be stuck with extra paint.

Nice color but a little tricky
I wanted a dark teal color for a vintage dresser I was redoing and settled on Tsunami. While applying, each coat wanted to lift up some of the layer underneath, this would happen even after leaving it to dry overnight. I even sanded the piece and completely wiped it down before applying. There’s also a decent amount of variation in the color. I was hoping for one solid color but the pigment concentrated in some areas. I don’t have a lot of experience with chalk paint so maybe I just don’t like this medium, but overall it’s ok but could be better.

Great Chalk Paint
Behr's Chalk paint is great. It gave great coverage, I did have to use 3 coats but I was painting over a dark color. The end result looks amazing!!

Not durable
Bought to repaint kitchen cabinets and two pieces of furniture. Took 3 coats on cabinets and 4 on furniture to evenly cover. Less than a week later, the paint is already chipping. The only recommended behr protectant is wax, which isn’t going to cut it in the kitchen. I will probably buy the Rustoleum protective matte topcoat to hopefully seal it. I’ve spent hundreds of dollar and hours and hours of time and am disappointed as I will likely have to paint again with another brand, spending more time and money. Also, it was suuuuper flat on the furniture. Wouldn’t buy again (though love Behr wall paint).

This product will typically cover in 1-2 coats, however certain colors may require additional coats for full coverage. To fix the finish, I recommend sanding down the areas that chipped to remove the loose coating, spot cleaning them, then touching up with more paint. This is a matte, decorative finish; however, our Clear Chalk Decorative Aerosol Paint or a water-based polyurethane can be applied to your kitchen cabinets for added durability. Wish I had read reviews
I wish I had read review prior to my project. I have experience painting with chalk paint have used many brands and even made my own. This did not cover like chalk paint. I did two coats with a brush as I typically would. Let dry and then went to sand the brush marks out. It didn’t sand like chalk paint should. I got a roller and applied a 3rd coat but that coat didn’t dry even and still looks a mess. I have to start over now. At least it was a small project.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This paint was decently priced, soooo many color options. This color was perfect for my project, I wanted a really Dark Gray that didn't really have any Blue or Yellow hints in the background, but I didn't want it to be Black. The paint was very easy to apply and covered very well. Used only 2 coats, which dry VERY quick so I was able to finish both coats in just a few hours. Looks great and I get a lot of compliments on the piece!
