I've used Behr paint for years on the interior walls of my home to even the exterior, and it goes on evenly and without the need for so many extra coats. I have an old patio table that I'd like to give a fresh coat and saw this in the stores and thought I'd give it a try. I love the antique pewter finish and it's easy to spray and goes on smoothly. A little goes a long way and it's safe for outdoor use.

This review is for the Behr premium hammered gloss paint. I choose white for my outdoor chairs to brighten up going into the winter. This spray paint can be used on inside or outside items. The chairs are metal and the paint adhered quickly and evenly. Getting it right the first time is what I look for, so choosing Behr is a no brainer! Paint goes on smooth no clogging. Shake up is super easy just stay about 8in. and use a slow back and forth motion.

We wanted to change the black plastic end caps on our porch to a more distinctive look and this paint is exactly what we needed! It has a textured, hammered look with a rich color that nearly matches the color of the porch while standing out. We put 2 coats on these caps which dried quickly on an overcast 68 degree day. The look went from smooth black to a metallic look in less than 2 hours. It adheres well to both the plastic of the caps and the aluminum shutter screws that attach them to the posts.

I ordered this to change the color of a new shelf I bought. The shelf bars were black metal before I sprayed. When I first started spraying, it seemed to make the hammer look, but I had to spray multiple sides and when I sprayed the second time, just 30 minutes later, it was no longer spraying that hammered look. I took several pics to show that most of the metal just looks bronze, but has some bumpiness.

Picked up this BEHR PREMIUM 12 oz.Dark Bronze Hammered Gloss Interior/Exterior Spray Paint to paint a lamp and some other things. It covers very well better than other brand spray paints. It drys very fast and smooth with a high gloss finish however it does not produce a hammered finish, but I didn’t really buy it for that anyway. I would suggest you use it in a well ventilated area. Overall this will be my new spray paint brand.

This spray paint works as it should. It sprays on nicely and evenly and leaves a quality finish. I have yet to use the entire contents of the can, so I cannot vouch for the delivery characteristics of the can when nearing the end of the contents. Nor can I vouch for the coverage of the can's contents, but it does seem to cover well so there should be good coverage of the entire can. If that makes sense. Overall, the finish is nice, a shiny hammered somewhat metallic appearance.

Really enjoy using Behr spray paints, I’ve used their house paints and now use nothing but Behr products. I painted my 1750 sq ft home with nothing but Behr paints and actually got to much because it covered better then other brand so keeping extra for touch up with 2 dogs running around. Behr spray paint just cover so much better and I seem to get more coverage so will not use anything other then Behr products, and with these brands of hammered spray paints they just up their game but affordable price. With this brown hammered look I will be spraying a lot of my wife’s Christmas projects soon, she loves the way it looks like someone used a small hammer and put little dings in her design, the gloss just pops and brings out a industrial look. If you’ve never used spray paints before keep spray nozzle about 8-12 inches from project and use side to side spray with releasing spray button and when going back the other way press and go, this method will increase your coverage area and make can last longer. And with the gloss if you get to close and just push button you will get a patchy and runny look, and lose the hammered look you’re trying to achieve. But this hammered brown really pops with the gloss,and does look like someone hammered it to give the look. I high recommend this BEHR PREMIUM 12 oz. #SP-301 Brown Hammered Gloss Interior/Exterior Spray Paint Aerosol, Brown Gloss, you won’t find a more realistic feature with a gloss to pop the hammered look.

I’ve turn over to Behr spray paints because of the great quality and different styles, did my house remodel and used but Behr paints thru out my 1750sq ft home. So when Behr start with these high quality spray paints I automatically switched over and wife is thrilled how items come out looking, we spray painted our outdoor mailbox a black hammered paint and it look’s awesome. So when I seen the antique pewter I knew I needed it for wife’s decorations for Christmas Time projects, has a great look that does look industrial with what looks like little dings in it. And with it being in Gloss will really pop and show more of the hammered look. Not counting it seems I get better spray time and more coverage compared to other brands. If your first time using spray paint make sure to be 8-12 inches from piece your spraying, and don’t keep finger on can trying to paint at once. You will get thicker areas and will run on you, spray side to side and release then when going opposite way do same thing you will get more even layer and conserve your paint. Definitely would recommend Behr spray paint hands down, this Antique hammered pewter gloss looks awesome for any project.

Here is my review for BEHR PREMIUM 12 oz. Black Hammered Gloss Interior/Exterior Spray Paint Aerosol. For over 15 years I have used BEHR paint products for many of my paint projects. I learned about BEHR Premium spray paint last summer and I wanted to try out the hammered paint line. Just like the first can of BEHR premium the cap was easy to take off and replace. No squeezing tabs or digging out a screwdriver to pry the cap off. This is a big plus for me, as I have a weaker grip from a past surgery. The spray pattern is even, conical, and tight. There were no clogged, spitting, or ragged spray patterns. The nozzle tip is wide, comfortable for your finger and easy to press down. The BEHR Black Hammered Gloss spray paint went on very evenly and dried to a very uniform hammered gloss finish. I painted a [INSERT ITEM HERE] with 3 light coats. The finished results were excellent! Once done with each coat I cleared the spray tip as you are supposed to do. I was pleased to notice that BEHR adds enough propellant so you can clear out the tip after each use, yet still have enough to empty out the entire can! BEHR premium Black Hammered Gloss spray paint covers well and looks great. I highly recommend BEHR Premium interior/exterior paint and primer for all your spray paint projects!

I ordered this silver spray paint to make a plant stand out of a log. I sprayed the log liberally with the spraypaint using several light coats untill i achieved the look i was aiming for, and i still have paint left in the can. This paint worked great! I am very happy with how the sprayer worked, and the coverage was great considering the application.

This paint seems to be high end paint. The spray can is solidly built and the nozzle does not seem to stick and sprays a consistent amount of paint. I like the "antique" look. Per the photos, you can get different looks depending on how many coats you use. It seems to me that the more coats you spray the less "antique" it looks. The pewter color is very modern looking.

I painted an old silver metal coin can. I forgot to sand the cap first. The paint still adhered good. I did sand the can per the directions. Again, the paint adhered good, and went on evenly/smoothly. I sprayed too much on the second coat. I got a minimal amount of sag on the bottom part of the can. Had that been another spray paint I probably would have had the huge raindrop sags. The paint sprays on evenly, and smoothly. It gives a beautiful finish that matches the cap. For this review I sprayed 3 coats per directions but it looked good at 1 coat. It looks more gray black, than a deep black, black. The can even looks more gray than black. There were many things to like about this paint, but my favorite was how quickly the tip cleared. Most spray paints it seems like I'm spraying most of the can to clear the tip. I have had some that just will not clear and I have to stop clearing the tip because so much paint is being wasted. This spray paint is excellent in that it goes on very evenly/smoothly, adheres great, minimal to no sag when heavy handed, clears the tip quickly/no clog tip, and the finish is beautiful even after 1 coat. The paint is suppose to have a rust inhibitive. Only time will tell but that will be great especially on metal.

The BEHR hammered gloss spray paint is a great product. It applies smoothly and evenly. It covers well. It dries very quickly. I was able to re-assemble my project after 15 minutes of drying time. You do the typical prep work to make sure your surface is clean and free of loose debris and then spray. You don’t need to do anything to get the hammered metallic look. That’s just how it dries. I used it to refinish some weathered hardware on an external door and it looks amazing. I took some before and after pics. Now I have to paint the door so it looks as good as the hardware.

This spray paint is probably the best one I’ve ever used. It goes on very easily and since it’s a primer and paint all in one, it saves time and money. The color on the cap is exactly how it looks. I love the hammered look as it hides any imperfections in the project I’m doing. I often get drips when applying spray paint but this product is much more user-friendly. It covers completely with one coat and doesn’t drip easily. The size of the can is also easier for me to hold than many of the larger ones. This is a great paint.

I’ve been using Behr products for years on my painting projects around the house. I like the way they go on, smoothly and easily with a nice sheen to them. This product is intended for my light post out in front of the house by the road, which takes a real beating in the hot weather in summer and cold in winter. I’m hoping that it will last longer than the original paint, which after three years is chalky and unattractive. We shall see. It has been difficult to get a good picture of the hammered effect of the paint, but it is nice.

This BEHR PREMIUM 12 oz. #SP-301 Brown Hammered Gloss Interior/Exterior Spray Paint Aerosol in Brown Gloss is a really nice color! In so many of the projects I work on, I love to use a hammered brown spray paint. This Behr is a very nice one! You can use it indoors or outdoors, its corrosion resistant and according to Behr, has excellent adhesion so it's a long-term spray.

I took an interest in Behr Hammered Gloss spray paint for a specific project I had in mind which was spraying some flower pots that were previously looking pretty drab, one being gray and the other white. I love the results and think the Burnished Amber is a great color. The texture looks pretty good, and for this purpose makes a big difference because of how it adds to the finish . Overall, really happy with the paint and the color.

This is not at all like the cap appears. There was no hammered appearance to it. And the color was closer to fool's Gold rather than copper color. It did sparkle and cover well with a several coats but not at all the expected appearance.

The quality of the paint is great, the issue I had was that the second time I used it it worked ok for a few minutes then the button got stuck and I wasted half a can and had to stop the project until I got another can, not to mention the mess.

Clogged immediately even after shaking for a full 2 min. Attempted to unclog per their instructions by turning it over and spraying for a few seconds. That got solvent and a bit of paint to dribble and spit, but did not clear it. Soaking nozzle in soapy water did not help either. This was a frustrating waste of time.

Used on a front door, easy to use, and great coverage.

This paint did not run!!! It was an even spray the whole time and the push button was easy to push down. Awesome spray paint.

Worked as it was intended. Great match on deck table and chairs.
