I recommend checking to see if the color was mixed correctly by comparing the paper swatch to the dried paint dab on the lid of your paint can. If they match up, the color is correct, and it would be best to recoat your project with a new color. If the paper swatch and paint dab don't match up, the color may have been mixed incorrectly, and we would recommend recoating with the correct color. This has been the best paint I've used. Repainting my house after first using this product 20 years ago (haven't painted between). Coverage is good and it goes on smoothly. And it LASTS! This is the Only paint I will use now.

I bought this to paint a "cactus". Originally I thought about putting on three coats because it was going to be out side year around. The first coat went on so smoothly that my thinking changed. It did receive a second coat to be on the safe side. Paint and primer in one does the job much quicker!

I am not a professional painter at all . I used this on my front door and door frame . I did 2 coats for good coverage . I am very pleased with the results . As to how long it lasts , time is the real test . In my non professional opinion , it did the job and seems like it will last and I would use it again .

My painting contractor applied the same color over the existing paint. They did a great job of grinding off the peeling paint which was applied about 6 years ago. The job took 2 coats for it to look consistent. I bought twice as much paint as I planned on buying but had to do it right. Its good paint but coverage isn't the greatest.

This is really beautiful paint but I was sort of surprised at the actual color, in real life outdoor conditions. It has the very slightest sage-green tint; to my eye, anyway. I am applying this to my house and garage and it really covers in one coat. I added a pic (not the best quality but gives you the idea) showing the old house color (light yellow) and the "Prairie Home" color over the top. Pressure-washed only before applying, did not strip or sand the siding.
PROS: Covers beautifully; manufacturer's coverage area estimate is accurate
CONS: It's pricey; color seems slightly different than pictured

Absolutely love this color and finish on our newly installed siding! Getting so many compliments from neighbors as they slow down while driving by to take a look! Bought a sprayer to apply paint and was great to basically apply one coat! Love it and looks great with lighter trim.
