So, I’ve been painting houses about 20 years and always prefer other manufacturers over Behr, Benjamin Moore, Sherwin williams, Dunn Edwards, you name it. I’ve used many of not all of the Behr paints in the course of my career and know to avoid it at all costs. The normal Behr premium plus is a more solid product than the marquee, But, of course I took this job, and the customer already over payed for this yellow, semi gloss marquee for their walls, and wanted to use that, so I regretfully agree to this nonsense. And yes, the horror story’s you read about are true. The paint is smelly, dries at a strange rate, and runs, streaks horrible!, Roller marks! is sticky, so it slides your roller cover off the handle and makes a mess, Is drippy, clumpy, and gluey. Compared to most premium or professional contractor grade paints. I’ll never use it again. I’ll refuse in the future. The customer didn’t complain because they had done some painting previous to hiring me, and there work was an absolutely hideous, stippled disaster so, me being a professional, it looked a bunch better to them and they accepted it but it looked like garbage on the wall to me. And Frankly, I’m embarrassed of it.
