Even though Consumers Report said this was the top paint over all the big name paints that they tested equally, it t works great. Painting outside wood trim you really only want to do it if wife says the needs to be changed. The paint stands up to full direct sun in the hot summers and really cold winters .

we opted to use a white primer as a base rather than just paint the wood trim due to the condition and deterioration, and it looks like new. Paint went on and covered better than a lot of other products out there, even with the contrasting colors.

This paint went on easy and mostly covered with one coat. We were painting a picket fence and the only time two coats were required was on new cedar pickets. It looks really wonderful, now if it withstands the weather in the future.

We have used BEHR products for all of our homes and projects this goes without saying! The color schemes are really great! This is just a part of one project just completed, went on smooth with the primer included it really didn't need more than one coat. The body is the new Dawn Gray, Semi Gloss. The trim is an off white that was color matched from the existing white that was on the house. Nothing to dislike and what I like most is the color and only needing one coat!

Last Purchase of Behr
I have had problems with Behr stains before but overlooked them. This semi gloss enamel was the worst paint I have ever used. It shows the brush strokes, does not self level as an enamel should and still showed brush marks after three coats. I used a much cheaper Wal Mart paint on the interior side of the door with very good results

In reading your review, it sounds like the coverage was poor and the paint didn't level after 3 coats. As the manufacturer, this is not something we want our customers to experience with our product. If you can still see brush marks on your door, we recommend lightly sanding the uneven texture down, cleaning the surface to remove the sand dust, and applying a new coat.
