  • Great Trim Paint

We used this paint on all door, window, and baseboard trim in the house, new and old wood. Also used it on a new french door, after first painting on some bare wood primer. This stuff goes on smooth, dries quickly - even a second coat, and looks awesome. It's just what I wanted, a nice clean white paint with a bit of shine.

Pros Even Application, Easy to Apply, Good Coverage, Easy to Clean, Looks Great, Looks High End, Dries Quickly

My favorite product. I love the coverage and the quality of this paint. We have an 1880's old wooden chapel which was in desperate need of painting. I believe the pictures tell it all. The project is almost finished but you can see the difference. While one coat was ok. I like to put two coats on because it has a deeper, thicker feel to it. I also am from the old school and believe two coats last longer. Since I don't want to have to ever paint this again and I had all the ladders set up, I used two coats. Next I need to work on the windows and roof. Chapel is located west of Hillsboro, Wisconsin if you ever want to see it.

  • This is without a doubt the best paint and stain I have ever used in my life and I'm almost 70 years old.

I originally purchased three 5 gallon buckets of Behr's best stain and one 5 gallon bucket of the Behr's paint and primer in one latex enamel. I did my entire house, two coats by myself. It took over a year of part time work but came out beautiful. I own a two story colonial with a full porch and was quoted over $14,000.00 from contractors for a one coat job. I spent less than $1,000.00 at Home Depot for all the behr paint and stain plus other paining supplies. Couldn't be happier with the results. This one gallon purchase of the white latex enamel was for touch ups.

I was able to paint my living room myself. Behr paint was the best since I didn't have to put more than I needed. I had a painter who never showed up so I borrowed a neighbor's ladder and painted my living room myself and thereby saved $700 which is what the painter quoted. I'm 70 years old so I took my time. I would definitely recommend Behr paint to anyone. I had them mix a light beige which makes the room light and airy looking.

I use the Behr "Premium Plus" line of paints in my own home, on painting jobs, and in houses I have "flipped". It is a good performing paint-- easy to work with, goes on well, and provides a durable, even finish. I am NOT a fan of the (Ultra and Marquis) "primer in the paint" lines- I don't like how they go on, their drying characteristics, or their durability/repairability (in the event of scrapes or chips). I heartily recommend Premium Plus to my clients, and they've been very happy with the results!

  • Fine paint

I have used every brand of paint from HD and other similar stores, and this is one of my favorites. I prefer it to behr's Ultra line of paints. There was no odor. I used this over white primer. It took two coats, but every paint I have ever used has taken two coats, even if I sand and prep the walls perfectly. I make my coats pretty thin and was able to do the 2nd coat in about 2 hours. It is in a bathroom and I have done some light scrubbing on it with no problems.

I love the behr premium plus ultra. I chose to use this product to paint a laminate & wood veneer dresser and it turned out great. I used a high gloss white color to paint over a medium brown color laminate dresser. I only needed 2 coats of paint, plus it dried ver quickly in between coats.

Absolutely love this paint!!! Thick, rich and creamy..... Goes on beautifully, blends perfectly and covers any imperfections that are somewhat visible. Paint was used for walls and a different color was used for wainscoting. Regardless of the finish, flat, semi-gloss, etc. the paint performs extremely well. Our bedroom looks beautiful! We added wainscoting and used the same paint in a different finish along with the trim to include doors. Looks beautiful and like brand new.

very easy application. Our kitchen cabinets were outdated in a light oak wood color they are the already assemble cabinets that home depot sells, the side of these cabinets are some type of laminate material. We did just a little sanding not much, Gave these cabinets a couple of coats and they turned out beautiful now I have a modern white kitchen. The sides which I said are laminate almost like paper, well those sides were just as easy, Wonderful product highly recommend. Don't forget to use small foam rollers,

I used this paint rather skeptically 6 months ago on vinyl shutters, and to my pleasant surprise, it's holding up wonderfully. I was expecting the paint to start peeling off quickly because of the slick surface and exposure to the weather, but so far, so good!
