The painter recommended BEHR paint. The cabinets look great. The paint went on smooth and I would recommend BEHR paint to everyone.

Can't beat BEHR Quality ! Excellent Consistent every time.

I purchased 3 cans of white trim and door paint. The first can was excellent. It went on easily and smoothly with great coverage. The second can was not as smooth and did not flow as well. I have not used the third can as of yet.

It goes on so well and, luckily, cleans up perfectly. I do have a tendency to drip a lot of paint so cleanup is very important!

Paint was ok, but very thin, ended up taking 3 coats of this stuff on trim before it started hiding the natural wood color underneath consistently. Takes 4 coats before yielding a solid and consistent finish. Also, this paint does feel watery and drips easily. Not worth saving a couple $ for this much added work and frustration. The picture I include shows 2 coats of Sherwin Williams on the left and 3 coats of this Bahr on the right.

I used this paint to paint over previous behr white paint and thought it would cover in 1 coat. I was not happy to see that the first coat showed lots of the surface bleed through.

Such an upgrade to the awful paint in our kitchen by Sherwin Williams that the seller used when we bought our home! I couldn’t even wipe with water without it taking off the paint! I’ve always loved the durability of Behr and I will forever be a Behr purchaser! Withstands daily cleaning and scrubbing for years and I can keep my walls looking like they were just freshly painted!

A very good paint. My walls were a paprika color and decided a change was needed. Behr ultra in a nice Writers Parchment covered my old color wonderfully with just one coat! I highly recommend this paint.

I asked for an excellent quality paint and was told this was it. Coverage was average, even after I primed the surface first. I noticed the colors separated in the container pretty quickly, so it needs to be stirred regularly during use. Not the best paint I've used.

We had a remodeling business owner use the recommended primer then this paint and primer in one in our newly remodeled bathroom and even after the two coats of paint on top of the primer it looks horrible. Uneven coverage, dried in different shades of tan, not happy.

I have a small room with 385 square feet of new drywall (including the ceiling) and I have gone through two full gallons of this paint and will still need at least one more, just to finish the first coat. Coverage of 400 sqft is absolutely a false claim. It goes on nice and smooth, but coverage is nowhere near where it should be and at $35/gallon it's no bargain for a paint and primer in one. I should have gone with the Kilz fist and then hit it with a cheaper paint for the final coat. The amount of time I'm "saving" by using a primer/paint in one isn't much of a savings afterall. I'll finish this room and never use this brand again.

I will never use any other paint. If I cant get what I need in Behr, I wont paint it. Covers in one coat, even over dark colors and looks fantastic. Saves Money and Time. Love it.

Rubbish paint, be warn! This is my first BEHR paint purchase. I used it to paint my cleaned and primed trims and after 2 coats, it peels off like a membrane. I have done a lot of painting and this has never happened to me before, I normally use Glidden but only got BEHR as a substitute because the Glidden paint I wanted was not available at the time. Regrets. Thanks a lot BEHR.

Love the coverage on a new wall. Easy application and one coat coverage. I have used hundreds of gallons of Behr paints and will continue to but there was a problem with this paint. I have no idea why and plan on contacting Behr and HD about this but the coverage I got for the paint I bought was nowhere near what the information said. It's suppose to cover 400 square feet and I covered about 260. That's 65% of quoted amount. I've never run into this problem before and that is why I gave it a poor value rating. It was applied to a textured wall but I have done that before without using this much product.

I was curious to find if the paint job would last if I didn't paint the builder-grade honey oak cabinets with primer first as recommended by various bloggers, tv personalities, and tradesmen. Since this cabinet was in the laundry room I figured I give it a shot; if it didn't work, then I could always distress it . Paint Application: I followed Behr's instructions on how to paint a cabinet (http://www.behr.com/consumer/how-to/interior/how-to-paint-a-cabinet) using just the PPU Interior Semi-gloss paint in Silver Screen 770E-2. In total, I applied 3 thin coats of paint to the cabinet, allowing each coat to dry at least an 1 hr in between; if I applied too much, I made sure to spread it out as evenly as could with 1" Wooster brush before it started setting in. However, I didn't manipulate the paint too much either when applying it to the cabinet; I know from past experiences if it's manipulated too much, the paint will start "bunching up" - just like when kneading bread, don't overwork it. I also used one of the bigger Crayola paint brushes in the 5pc or 6pc sets (sold at retail stores) for the stiles and the opening and to touch-up sections as needed. I was surprised that the graining pattern was still visible because sometimes paint and primer combos fill-in the graining - so this was a major plus since I like the graining but not the honey oak color. Paint Smell, Dry time: The paint barely had a smell and I believe this might be attributed to the base; the other colors (i.e. Behr's French Silver, Ethiopia, Russian Blue) used in different applications were darker, used either a medium or deep base, and had a stronger scent - not as strong as oil-based paint but definitely noticeable. In addition, this paint seemed to dry faster than the medium and darker paints as well. Paint Cleanup: Just soap and water :) Overall, I'm really pleased the cabinet has turned out well; this paint helped reduced steps (i.e. additional primer coats), dried within a reasonable amount of time, and the cabinets don't feel tacky to the touch either. Can't wait to tackle powder room cabinets in Behr Thermal S440-7 and kitchen cabinets in Behr Frost 57.

We used this as the darker of two colors on a horizontally striped wall in my daughter's bedroom. Base coat was I Heart Potion, which provided a good transition coat between the old white to this darker shade. If you're not stingy with the paint, once coat coverage is possible and looks great. Flows nicely off the roller.
