Quality: solid 4 out of 5. Reason being, this toilet front iss made of very good quality, heavy duty material. One can sit on it and it wont break, unlike the older one I had, which broke while a petite kid sat on it. Ease of installation: again, solid 4 out of 5. Probably very close to 5. It took leas than 10 mins to install. 6 mins were to take the older one out. Very simple. Overall: 4 of 5 Pictures attached for reference and it look after installed.

Bemis is a leader in bathroom accessories and this product is at the forefront of their product line in innovation and ease of installation. Not only is the seat of high quality, but it incorporates some new technologies which make it stand out from all others. It incorporates a twist off tightening nut which assures proper torque for long lasting operation. Using only a wrench it took me less than 15 minutes to install. It has a slow self closing operation which is a vast improvement from other non closing seats. The finish is great and should last a very long time. This is a low cast/high value improvement anyone can make to upgrade their bathroom.

BEMIS Atwood Elongated Closed Front Toilet Seat in White was received over a week ago but waiting on a new toilet to use it on. This Atwood toilet seat is a much nicer seat that was included with the new toilet. Were as so many included toilet seats are plastic and light weight the Atwood is a quality built heavy weight seat well worth the money. The slow close seat is a really nice feature avoiding seats from slamming closed. The only reason I gave quality four stars was there was a slight mar on the seat top. (see photo)

This toilet seat is great! The seat is soft-close, the lid is soft-close. You don't have to worry about seat slams with this toilet seat. I love the solid wood construction. You know when you sit down on the closed lid of a cheap plastic toilet seat and the seat bends inward and you think it's going to break or snap? This solid wood seat is substantial. Great to sit on. Installation was easy- my wife installed it in minutes.

If you have never had a Bemis toilet seat with the slow-close feature you are missing affordable luxury! Over the years we have rated motel rooms by whether or not they had slow-close toilet seats. Not many of them do. Many years ago, when we first started using them, I should have bought stock in the company. We have them on every toilet we own including boats and RV's. All our family members bought them on our recommendation. Friends now own them, too. Probably the one downside is that you get used to just pulling any other seat down only to learn that it isn't slow-close. Doh! That can be one loud bang. They are so easy to install that my better half did it with no problem. And, when you need to give the head a thorough cleaning the seat is even easier to remove and replace. This wooden model is on the higher end of the price spectrum, but Bemis offers good quality plastic ones at a very affordable price. Try one and you will not be disappointed!

Bemis reinvented the toilet seat. I have installed more toilet seats than I care to remember. This is the best one! I liked the ones that clipped on to the top of a plastic bolt and ring. But the receiver that you twisted to tighten the connection often worked itself loose. This design corrects that issue. You attach a rectangular faster to the bowl with a plastic screw. Then you slide this receiver in place and close the top clip tightly. It cannot work itself loose and it stays tight no matter what you do until you deliberately want to take it off. Good work Bemis!

I haven’t had this replacement seat for long enough to tell how it’s going to hold up, but the quality is excellent out of the box. I have the Atwood elongated seat in white. The finish is smooth and uniform; all of the necessary hardware is included; and the length AND width are perfect for my toilet. If it helps anyone, I have it mounted to a Vortens bowl. And the soft close is nice. No more accidental loud closings when I’m bleary eyed. The install is simple. One wrench is all you need. Hand tighten the two nuts and then finish with the wrench. They have a breakaway section so that you don’t over tighten it. I’m unsure that we’ll utilize the disengagement feature, but if we need it, it will be a tool free removal and installation.

No more slamming toilet seats. I was able to remove old toilet seat, clean, and install this new Bemis Atwood elongated toilet seat in under ten minutes. Surprisingly, the toilet seat was heavy when I first picked it up, but the weight gives it a sturdier and better quality to the one I replaced. The seat is very easy to clean and fits my toilet perfectly. The instruction was simple to follow and the hardware to install was included.

This Bemis elongated closed front toilet seat is a strong, sturdy, and seemingly well made seat. The white is a good universal white that does not seem to clash with the toilet as some other do. The soft close works well and it feels good sitting on it. The only difficulty I had was with the installation. On my American Standard toilet the left side had very little clearance to attach the long nut. I managed but the long nut needed to be shorter as I feel several of today's most popular brands of toilets will have different designs and the nut should fit all of them. Recommended.

Such an improvement over our old toilet seat. The seat is sturdy and much more durable than the thin plastic one that came with the new toilet. Both the lid and the seat are slow motion closing, so no more slamming seats and loud noises. You need to read the instructions on how to install, it's not your traditional install. You will need a 5/8 wrench or socket set to install. We like the new toilet seat.

Solid and attractive wood toilet seat. Great design to easily remove for cleaning, but installation was a little tricky. Overall, the product is well made and I expect it to be durable. The design that sets this apart from others is the easy clean option. No need to twist the cap, but unclick the hinge and the seat slides right off. The slide that attaches to the bowl has a textured underside that keeps the bolts in place. The slides are very securely attached. One hint for installation - make sure the hinges are clicked into place before final tightening. After final tightening, I clicked the hinges in place and the seat location had changed a bit. Loosening it to readjust was not easy. Also, only one of my two nuts snapped off like the directions indicated. One small design issue. When the top of the seat is lifted, there is a small gap between the back of the seat and the rounded back of the bowl. Not much, but it doesn't cover the whole opening.

Bemis is the highest quality toilet set that you can find. The seat in my guest bath was broken by that ‘NOT ME’ person that I have lived with for fourty plus years. Actually, I do think it was probably me in the middle of the night. At any rate, this was a very quick repair, 10 minutes from box to installed. The seat was packaged very well, double boxed so that it would not/did not get damaged in shipping. Very pleased with this seat, highly recommend.

Had to return it - wrong color - and exchanged it for another - no worries.

We ordered three of these toilet seats for all our bathrooms. The color is what we expected. They were easy to install and work like a charm.

The mechanism on these seats works well. However, out of the four that I ordered, three had chips or blemishes on the front of the top lid. I returned them to Home Depot for credit. The one that I kept and installed works fine,

Did not install the seat because the color was not what I was looking for. My Home Depot did not carry toilet seats in any colors besides white! So I had to order online and return when the color was not to my liking.

Sturdy and hefty toilet seat. Not the cheap plastic ones out there. There in every bathroom of my house, great product, I would definitely recommend it.

The finish was chipped in several places - I returned it.
