This elongated seat is very nice and clean looking. Made of wood and has slow quiet closing feature so no slamming.
The installation was very easy. This was my second one. Directions were clear and the whole process was simple. Need to assemble the bolts into the holders before placing on the toilet. Tighten the fasteners by hand, then set the seat position before final tightening with the wrench. It's a strange feeling when tightening with the wrench and the bottom if the bolt snaps off, this is suppose to happen. Then its time to stop.
The quick removal for cleaning is great. Wasn't sure how it worked but it's just a slide on/off around the bolts.
Everything is included so it took under 10 minutes including removing the old seat.

The installation was very easy. Directions were clear and the whole process was simple. Need to set the seat position before final tightening. Don't over tighten or the quick removal may not work.
Big plus is the quick removal for cleaning. Wasn't sure how it worked but it's just a slide on/off around the bolts. Guess I have no excuse for not cleaning.

Cracked after 1.5 yrs

I perched two of these Bemis seats. They both cracked in the same place after 1.5 yrs.
There is only two of us at home and we are both 170 # and not over weight.
These wood seats are made of molded wood power and are poorly Made with no longevity.
Of course the warranty has expired and Home Depot is will not respond.
My advice chose another brand for Bemis is not quality.

I purchased this online for store pickup. I had a hard time deciding between this and the kohler version in the same price range. I was buying this to replace a 2 year old toilet seat that had already gotten very scratched and faded. I could not remember what brand that was. I decided to go with Bemis and was very happy I did. It is a lot nicer than the previous one I had (I believe that was kohler after replacing it). The Bemis is more elevated, seems more durable, looks more expensive than what you pay for, and easy to install. The slow close is truly slow close and you can walk away and trust that it will do its job. I truly did not care about this feature but am pleased with it. This seat is easier to clean around the clips than my previous one and I am OCD about cleaning, especially with pet hair. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far I am pleased.

I love the new toilet seat I just received. It has a very smooth seat and the look of it is amazing. The installation took less than 5 minutes to put together and was easy to do. I recommend this toilet seat if you’re looking for a new one!

I have to say the quality of a toilet seat does matter. I have recently replaced our plastic toilet seat with this Bemis atwood round closed front toilet seat in white and it is great. This seat is well made and heavy duty. It does not require bolt tightening on a weekly basis and it looks very nice. Obviously the installation is very easy and you will not be disappointed.
