CRACKED AGAIN
This is the 3rd one we have purchased in 18 months, they ALL have cracked in the EXACT same place,will NOT purchase it again.

Toilet seat cracked in less than two weeks
Bought this seat to replace a similar soft-close model from Bemis that had cracked after about 18 months and was no longer in warranty. This toilet seat cracked in the same location on the seat in 18 days. Obviously, there is something wrong in the design or the materials used since most of the reviews indicate the same issue. I will take back for a refund and find a different type to replace.

Broken pieces
Hard to tell how this will work, as 2 of the plastic insert pieces (used to secure the toilet seat and screw to the toilet) arrived in MANY pieces.

Cracked after 18 months normal wear
Trash. Seat suddenly and completely cracked in half one day after 18 months of average or even below-average use by one adult under 200 lbs.

The set was too short for my standard round toilet and there was paint missing from when they sprayed it. I bought the same one 6 years ago and it was fine.

Cheap MDF Junk - Will Break!
Warning - this is NOT solid wood. It is saw dust glued together and molded. It WILL break! Lasted less than ten weeks. Seat cracked straight across while I was sitting on it. Many other reviews with break in the exact same spot. Manufacturer's defect, obviously. If you don't keep your box and receipt (don't know anybody that does on a toilet seat) you're out the money you paid. Forget the warranty. Cheap junk!

Ours cracked, so did replacement
It looks nice but doesn't last. seems like the firinfittings don't quite line up, causing tension when the nuts are tighted as instructed. Bye, Bemis

Broke in a month....
The seat was really easy to install and seemed to be high quality. Everything seemed fine until this morning when it just simply cracked all the way through on the seat portion. Picture attached. Almost lasted 1 whole month.

ELONGATED? ADD EXTRA BUMPERS!
I installed a new one two months ago. Easy installation, performs beautifully. Problem? a 200 pound human sat on it in a hurry and the seat FRACTURED across! Bought it because plastic hinges shift around, this is tight and secure (metal hinges only). BUT.
I must replace it because it broke. I will be adding FOUR RUBBER BUMPERS to the new one as soon as I get it.
Manufacturer needs to consider that elongated toilet seats take more stress between those 2 bumpers & the hinges!

Toilet seat cracked after 2 months of use
The toilet seat was easy to install but after 2 months it cracked. Under the weight of a 190 lb man btw which is not very heavy. Total garbage construction, mdf pressed wood that is very weak. It's too bad because the soft close feature was very nice.

Be sure to measure first
I was replacing my toilet seats and chose this one because I prefer wood and metal hinges. Who would have thought that an elongated toilet seat wouldn't fit an elongated toilet? This seat is about 1/2 inch shorter than the rim of the toilet bowl (and 3/8" shorter than the seats I was replacing). Maybe I'm being picky, but at nearly $50 per seat, I'd like it to fit a little better.

2nd one that's broken in two years
I bought one of these toilet seats in May 2020, and one of the hinges snapped by December of that year. Bemis did get me a replacement which was very kind of them. Well, the one of the hinges just snapped on that one. Think I'll be choosing a different brand this time. Haven't had much luck with Bemis.

Doesn't fit Kohler toilets
Insert will not fit into the hole of my Kohler toilet. I'd have to hammer it in place to get it to fit. Must return seat -- and I noticed that it had been returned at least once before as well, so I suspect someone else ran into the same problem. Too bad because it appears to be a good quality seat overall.

The white bushing will only fit into the mounting holes once installation is complete. The StaTite fastening nut will essentially pull it into place once the nut has been fully tightened, ensuring the bushing is snug in the mounting holes to prevent the seat from wiggling around. Toilet seat broke in 3 months and 3 days
We acquired this toilet seat 3 months and 3 days ago. The product broke today and I was told that Home Depot can not help me as 90 days has passed.
I definitely didn’t expect the product would break after only 3 months of use!

Not well made and the sizing is off
I bought two of these to replace old toilet seats. They are bit on the small side for the toilet. They don't sit squarely on the toilets after installation. They both were the same - skewed to one side no matter what. Most importantly, after I tightened them, one metal hinge on both of the toilet seats I bought separated. Happened on the upstairs and the downstairs toilets as soon as I tightened them.

Not as big as the toilet bowl
I just received and installed the Bemis - Weston Slow Close Round Closed Front Toilet Seat Model #526CHSL. It’s ¼ inch shorter that the toilet bowl rim and ½ inch shorter that the old Bemis Whisper-Close toilet seat it was meant to replace. This brings your legs into direct contact with the toilet bowl rim. I returned it.

Cracked Seat
For being such an expensive and feature rich toilet seat, Bemis has skipped out on making it a durable product. We purchased this seat nearly 5 months ago and the seat had cracked in half. This is the second seat to experience such an issue. We have broken two of these seats. Thought the first one might be a fluke, but no. These are just weak, ineffectual “wood” seats that do not stand up to normal use. I do not recommend these and will be looking elsewhere to buy a better seat.

Not Good
Has an old Bemis toilet seat that cracked completely through. I replaced it with this Bemis on in Mid July 2020, and it also cracked completely through on 9/18/2020. This is poor quality. I doubt I will be buying any more Bemis products. I dont have the receipt so I dont know if Home depot will remedy this.

Will not close and don't expect it to last long
This is one of the worst toilet seats I have ever had. It will barely close. It takes about 5 minutes before it gets close to closing on its own. It didn't even last a year and there's a big crack in the seat. Terrible purchase! Don't waste your money!

Put in on a "Foremost Series 1930 2-Piece 1.6 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet in White" (Internet #100676564Model # TL-1930-EW). Standard "line it up, screw on the breakaway plastic 'bolt'" installation. Nice and heavy: feels like solid wood, not cheap plastic. Soft close hinges working so far. Chrome hardware matches the rest of the fixtures nicely. Color is a *tiny* bit off (vs toilet) but that could be because of the differences in material between this seat and the porcelain, and nobody but me even notices.

( I had their lower model before that my neighbor picked out and it had plastic bolts.It didn't even last a year. It already fell apart and the seat got very loose. It was less money and honestly, you get what you pay for.)

Wobbly seat and won’t screw flat on toilet
The seat won’t screw flat on my toilet which is making the seat wobbly. I noticed there’s a small gap on the left hinge of the seat which is probably making it impossible for me to screw the seat on flat. I’m worried there’s going to be dirt/germs lodged in that gap and it’ll be impossible to clean.
