This mounts to a bench or toolbox nicely!

Very nice vise! Mounting holes are sufficient and the Bessey Non-marring Vise Jaw Accessory is a nice addition.

Nice vise for the money

Works as intended as a vise.

There are definitely better brands on the market. It works for home hobby but not all that solid for repeated heavy use. the weakest point is the attachment to the bench and pivot

Christmas gift for my son in law. He has already secured it on his work bench

Right now, I have the vice configured so it is portable (attached to a section of 2x4) and I can easily move it around. I am using it to hold small parts while I cut or sand them to the proper shape. I am also making a worktable in the basement and when the current project is done, I will install the vice on the table.

I had to throw out my vice from Chinese Freight when the sliding jaw broke in two. I was expecting a much better product from Home Depot’s “Bessey” until the handle bent. I unclamped the vice and reinserted the material, expecting the handle to at least bend back to the original position when I cranked in the other direction. No joy. The handle is now “S” shaped.

Does what you think.. We’ll see long term..

Great vise and the right size

My husband uses this little vise quite often. It holds everything in place very well. We love our Bessey and highly recommend it.

Great vise so far. You will need to purchase 3 bolts to mount the vise to the bench.

Easy to install but doesn’t come with hardware so I recommend buying some bolts/nuts/washers while you’re at it.
