The box was left in the morning by UPS. In the afternoon I found the box completely open and broken even inside. It has rained and the box is very wet and I can’t determine if the saw can have any level of damage, because the saw is not packed with a plastic bag as usually happens.

No problem cutting through a 2 foot pine without waking the neighbors, though the chain does slip off of the bar a bit too often. Very clean; I keep it in the house; no gas and oil smell.

Unfortunately I can not recommend buying this chainsaw from HD. Home Depot had repackaged a used chainsaw and sold it as new. I didn't discover this till I got home and opened it. They had put the pickup name tag across were they had resealed it so I wasn't obvious till I opened it. I can not provide a review for a new chainsaw since I didn't get one. There was residual oil in the chain oil dispenser. It still had wood chips and debris on the chain bar, sprocket and housing along with a loose chain.

I bought this chainsaw in October to remove a tree from my yard. It did well in cutting a tree that was close to 30” in diameter with some careful cutting. Made quick work of the limbs and trunk afterwards as well. However, after a month of light use, it started leaking chain oil out of the motor and through the body of the saw so it’s now only able to be used with a constant stream of chain oil replenishment. It was a really good saw but the fact that it only lasted a month is poor.

I HAVE OWNED THIS CHAIN SAW FOR SEVERAL YEARS. PURCHASED IT TO SUBLIMENT MY GAS SAW WHICH IS HARD TO START AT TIMES. I AM ON MY 2ND CHAIN. TODAY I DECIDED TO CUT DOWN A DEAD TREE IN MY BACK YARD. THE TREE WAS 4 FEET WIDE AT ONE POINT AND 12 FEET IN CIRCUMFERENCE. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKE THIS SAW AND USE IT OFTEN BUT CUTTING DOWN THIS BIG TREE REALLY IMPRESSED ME.

Never owned used chain saw before. Assembled easily, directions easy to follow. Handled anything I tried to cut. Used it to clear out scrub trees on the edge of my property. Purchased because I prefer electrical products rather than gas-powered.

I spent quiet a few hours online researching chainsaws and finally settled on this model. I bought it to do light duty stuff around the house. Limbing trees, cutting up stumps and logs for firewood and possibly even taking down a couple trees on my property in the future. I don't need the portability of a gas saw and I purchased a 50 foot extension cord with my saw. So far, the saw has performed great. I cut up a 20 inch around maple tree for firewood with no problems. The chain tension knob works great and the saw is whisper quiet. I don't need earmuffs like I have in the past with gas saws. My only apprehension with this saw from the reviews I read was that there may be issues with the oiler but I have to say, I have used the saw on 4 separate occasions and the oiler has performed every time. It's light, easy to use, cuts well and hasn't given me any problems as of yet. It's a good saw to have around the house for small tasks.

Excellent, just as I remember the quality and use from over 15 years ago when I used one, so now when I needed one, against many store employees recommendations I still went ahead and ordered this from on-line. 99.9% of the time I do NOT order things from on-line, but I did this time.

The chainsaw worked as expected. I was able to cut down a 12 inches diameter live tree. The saw worked with 50ft extension power cord. It weights more than 14-in chainsaw, but does the job better I believe. Can't say anything about reliability of the product. It was the only tree I cut.

Great for the small trees and over grown bushes i needed to get rid of.

The electric saw is just right for my occasional use because it requires no fuel, and it has the power I need for trees in my yard. I cut down an old plum tree in about an hour which included the removal of many branches. And manual chain oiling is not necessary because of the auto oiler. Just be sure to keep the oil container filled. I've had the saw for about a month. Thanks

The price is not right and habor freight is the half price of yours. So I have to return your chainsaw.

Used for about 10 minutes and the chain came off. Could NOT get it back on. Had to drive 20 miles to return. I DO NOT recommend this saw!
