Very good Orbital sander for the price. Does all of the task of more expensive sander. But who knows if it will last for years

I use this for distressing chalk painted items and it's a great tool for that purpose. It's affordable and easy to use.

This was replacement for Firestone o bought that would not even turn on. Something was wrong with the switch. This one worked great. I like it. I’d recommend to anyone. Hoping it will last for years with moderate use.

I bought this about a week ago on-line and had it sent to store. I have used it several times on furniture. It takes awhile to remove finish, but for me i dont care. It's lightweight and easy to use.

The B&D BDERO-100 is only good for light duty sanding. The BDERO-600 is a much better (heavier duty) choice. However, they both suffer from a poor quality lower bearing. Replacement with a better bearing is required and is fairly easy. The exhaust does make for easy attachment to vacuum hose.

Intermittent slipping of the sanding disk. Cannot reach corners of the door panel with the round disk.

Had to replace a 15 year old Black & Decker Random Orbital. For light duty around household demands this sander is hard to beat. Used the last one on our old farm and it gave 15 years of service.

I am giving three stars because it just comes with one sand paper and it is not super powerful. I am restoring a coffee table that was painted white and the paint is not coming off as easily as I expected.As for Home Depot online purchase I would give 0 if I could. I hated the new locker system.

FINALLY GOT AROUND TO USING THE ORBITAL SANDER. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THAT IT NEEDS A LARGER ON/OFF SWITCH. THE SANDER MET ALL EXPECTATIONS AND THEN SOME. GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE. WHAT DO WE HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO WIN IF WE DO NOT ENTER A PHOTO? DON'T YOU THINK THIS IS UNFAIR.

It’s called a rotary, it barely rotates. I guess it’s because it’s a 2.5 HP. I don’t push down too hard

This may be the best item for the price that I have ever purchased in my lifetime! I am a 70 year old great-grandma and this sander is so easy to use. This was my first experience with an electric sander. It glides over the surface (do not press down), so easy to change the sandpaper, light weight, dust catcher, low vibration, low noise, etc. My large deck was still very sturdy so I didn't want to go to the expense of a total replacement, but the boards were very weathered. I used a lot of wood filler, sanded, and painted. Looks great! I can't say enough great things about this little sander. For the price, I would have been happy if it had lasted only long enough to complete this project but I expect it to last as long as I might need it.

Easy to use and did a good job. A good bang for the buck. Very satisfied.

I ordered this as a backup sander because it was priced so low. Something happened and Fed Ex ended up returning it undelivered. For the hassle I went through, Home Depot gave me a discount and I ended up paying only $14 for this sander. And I like it. My Dewalt has been sitting on the shelf.

66 yr old disabled female. Figured out and LOVES sanding with this sander. Trying to redo my deck on my own, This sander is going to help me get the job done and done right! Sorry doing it by myself. I cant sand and take a selfey.

This sander is so easy to use. Light weight. Fits in your hand. Take it out of the box, plug it in and start your sending projets. Dust bag is great for containing plaster dust. My first project was sanding walls after removing wallpaper. Prepping for painting walls. Finished within an hour. Would definitely recommend this B&D orbital sander to friends.
