This item is very handy and awesome, but i had a problem with the warranty because the plastic container is not part of the warranty. i called customer service for parts and service from black and decker but they said the only option i have is buy a new one. i hope they would cover all parts. for future buyer of this product. the only thing covered is the filter and the machine itself.

The dry hand vac HNV215B10 Model I purchased Does not come with Accessories....Instruction Manual reads, HNV220B models only.. **Brush Tool** **Crevice Tool**.. So believing the accessories will fit dry hand vac model HNV215B10, I ordered crevice tool #90587638-02 and brush tool #90597639-04..These tools are not included with dry hand vac model, HNV215B10 But it seems their made for it! This has pretty good suction. Really picked up more than I thought it would. Like that it is lightweight and empties easily. Takes about 7 hours to charge which is fine but I ran it constantly which lasted about 25 minutes. Wouldn’t normally use it that way just wanted to see how long that charge lasts. Great for quick pick ups then back in the charger. Particularly like using it in the bathroom but having others in the past which had died quickly because hair and stuff is really difficult on them. I’m hoping this one lasts because it is so convenient and does a great job picking up so far. Guessing only with use and time will tell. But so far happy with it. I'm going to preface this review by saying that this is my first handheld vacuum cleaner, so I don't have any others to compare it to. I wanted to love it, but I don't. It's ok - simple and functional - but it's not my favorite thing. First, I unpackaged it and tried to set it up. I didn't realize that it comes with a wall mount that you MUST screw into the wall. I thought the wall mount would be optional, but it seems like the wall mount is required - I couldn't figure out how to detach the wall mount from the power cord. Next, I wanted to mount it on the wall, but there are very limited instructions on how to do that. It might be obvious to you, but I needed a little help . . . especially before I start screwing stuff into the wall that I might not like and will definitely put holes in my new paint. So, I decided to just plug in the device, and charge the vacuum in the mount, but lay the wall mount on the counter. I don't like this as a long term solution because it could easily get knocked over. The vacuum charged quickly. I didn't see any indicator light telling me that it was charging or that it was charged, but it worked, so I assume it charged (or maybe it arrived already partially charged? a label said to charge before use). The operation is very simple - you just press a button! I was not impressed by the strength of the suction (but maybe this is normal for a small handheld unit - I'm used to full-size vacuums with hose attachments). I had to get the vacuum RIGHT UP to the dirty surface, but then it did a good job picking up some large particles. I think the shape of the nozzle might make it hard to reach debris in certain situations, but it was find for the area of the floor that I was trying to clean. I haven't tried to clean the unit yet. It looks like it will be easy to remove the plastic part and rinse out the filter. I wonder if I could clean them in the dishwasher, but I didn't see any instructions about that.

As a DIYer, I needed a small, compact vacuum to keep my house clean. I've had this for a couple weeks, but so far no problems. It is surprisingly powerful. I've seen other products and I was afraid the vacuum would not be as powerful as I would like. So when I received the vacuum, I tried it out on my floor and it picked up a good amount of dust and hair. For example, I wanted to use this on my office floor to pick up crumbs from eating croissants without a plate...It picked it all up without creating more mess! I love it! The filter is also easy to clean out. Just open and dump into the trash can. I mounted it onto the wall so i wouldn't trip over it on the floor. They include the mounting hardware in the box. The lithium battery should keep the charge a while and last a long time!

This lithium ion cordless handheld vacuum works well to spot clean small light weight dry debris. In my opinion, the suction power is about average and the battery's charge last about five to ten minutes; long enough to complete small clean-up jobs. The see-through dust collection canister is a plus, and is easy to remove for emptying, then subsequent reattachment. The unit comes with hardware to mount the re-charging base to a wall if so desired. I am using it principally on my workbench to pick up small scrapes from metal and woodworking projects, a job it performs flawlessly. The downsides are the lack of a battery indicator for the amount of charge available, the "On" button must be held down continuously to keep the unit powered on, and the vacuum exhaust port is underneath the unit where the charging port connections are. If you're not careful handling the unit the force of its air exhaust may unintentionally scatter the debris you are trying to pick up. This handheld vacuum is very similar to one I had over 30 years ago. The unit lasted many years and I expect this one will also provide many years of service. See attached photographs.

This is a neat little hand vac. It takes 9 hours for the first charge, then you can just leave it on the charging station. I have not used it long enough to make the battery need a full recharge. I just use it here and there for at most 5 minutes. I have ours in the garage since it will primarily be used to clean out the car mats and trunk space. The suction is decent. It is not like a corded vacuum, but as good as you are going to get for a non-corded, hand held small model! If used a lot, and regularity, the direction say you have to replace the filter about every 9 months. The canister that allows you to dump debris is easy to take on and off and just clicks into place. It has a two year limited warranty.

This hand held vac is your simple, basic model to be used for quick, easy dry clean ups. It has good suction power, is light weight, with a sturdy handle and a hold down button power switch. The suction opening is flat and wide so it can not get into small places or corners. There are no attachments, crevice or brush tools, included with this model. The dust bowl and filter are easily detachable for cleaning. Replacement filters must be purchased separately. The charger is hard wired into the hanging bracket.
