It is getting harder to find a CORDED variable speed reversible drill with a CLUTCH.
But even more rare than that is that it can also be converted into a CORDED impact driver. You need to buy the Black and Decker BDCMTI Matrix Impact Driver Attachment (sold separately). It is fantastic. I have added a picture that shows the base unit with the impact attachment connected. Notice the wear on the unit. Its my first Matrix I bought back in May of 2016! Still works great. I just bought a new one because I was worried the battery operated craze was going to phase it out.New Matrix works great and takes the impact driver accouterments from 2016 like a glove.
I have only seen one other CORDED impact driver but I decided not to pay $190.00 for it. Instead I saved well over $100.00 and got two hard to find tool configurations. Also wanted to mention that there are other attachments but I haven't tried them.

the drill does exactly what is should HOWEVER it...
the drill does exactly what is should HOWEVER it was a use drill the box was torn and obviously a return there was no instructions with it although I really didn't need any because my cordless was this type but i did have to Oil the mechanism that releases the drill portion because it was ticking and the locking wasn't releasing like it should.
