Don't put wood in this, it will not be smokeless. Also, after the first burn, the coating on the unit was peeling off and the screen at the bottom was warped. If you plan on using wood pellets, it will go through a 20 lbs bag in about 30 minutes.

Searched the internet for weeks on end looking for a fire pit that was extremely function and also conveyed a simple modern style. I finally came across the Blue Sky Peak. Home Depot had it on my front door in 4 days (ordered on a Sunday no less!). There was virtually no set up other than removing from the box. The first was roaring within 10 minutes of doing no more than tossing a wad of burning paper into a heavy load of (dry) wood. An hour in the fire was giving incredible heat and the “secondary burn” was clear. There was virtually nothing left when it burned down. A small pile of white powdery ash. I’ve seen other brands on social media ads who say their pits perform similarly, and they may. However size V price coupled with a modern aesthetic make the Blue Sky option the clear winner. Already ordered a second for a Christmas gift for a family member!

I bought this because of the heavy duty construction. I would buy this again. Should keep the pit dry and aid in its longevity.

High quaity, and a perfect fit!

Super easy to assemble, burns nice and hot. The only issue I have is ash disposal. It’s hard to lift off the pit from the ash tray without either a second person or tipping it on its side which spills the ashes around. With there was an easier way but it’s not a big enough issue to create a problem though. Overall, great firepit!

Beautiful and modern fire pit, it really is virtually smokeless. The product packaging is terrible, beware, only cardboard, no protection.

I think if I could return I would and get a solo stove! They tend to smoke a lot less than this

Construction and materials very good, heavy gauge steel thus the 46 pounds. Spark screen really nice, easy assembly. Don't overload fire, let it build to a really hot base (rather than pile in wood all at once), works as it should. Have not tried Solostove (more than 2X in price) so can't compare, but indeed nearly completely smokeless when fire is burning hot and roaring. Air holes and flow allow that, so again, don't overload. A great choice if you want an easy fire pit solution.

Pleasantly surprised that this is exactly, as advertised, virtually smokeless. Super easy to light because you’ve got the ventilation holes on the bottom providing oxygen, burns super nice, no smoke in your face.

It’s durable, fits snugly and doesn’t blow off. What else do you want in a cover.

There’s no turning this thing off once it’s lit. Really impressed with the engineering and design. It’s not smokeless but it cuts down a lot of the smoke. The airflow keeps wood burning and the heavy frame ensures it won’t blow over.

Delivered it was missing the spark screen handle and screen lift. Called blue sky and they said they would send replacement parts. Great! Then next day blue sky called back and said they had no extra parts in stock bring in back to Home Depot for replacement. Not so great. Went to Home Depot to replace they said they had no more available so I kept the unit despite the missing parts. No price adjustment or replace the parts at a future time was offered. Not a good response.

The removable ashtray is not very easy to remove. Not safe to use on trex deck!

After one use, performs as advertised. Very little smoke. Nice hot fire. Easy to move around. Cool look.

Works well produces a nice fire with little smoke and seems well built. Looks nice with the faceted design, would give 5 stars but kind of a pain to clean the bottom and the tray tray but not a big deal

Works as well if not better than Solo. Neither are totally smokeless. Significant upgrade from standard fire pit.

Looks good. Works as described. Not truly smokeless, but smokes less. key is to using dry wood.
