This was an excellent idea when it came to protecting the carpet in my son's nursery when it was time to paint it. Even when using a power painter we still had more than a few major mishaps including an improperly secured paint reservoir, and an 80 lb boxer wanting to help out on the family project!
Like any other tarp I highly suggest unfolding it and laying it out in the backyard for a few hours just to dissipate the initial odor. We did the same thing when it was time to clean it off and dry it. It dried in just a few minutes being that we're in sunny FL and handled the job excellently leaving our carpet none the wiser.
High Quality of Material, Good Coverage, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Good Protection, Dries Quickly
This tarp is good quality. It has grommet holes for tie-downs that make it easy to cover a grill or fire pit to protect it from rain. I have also used this to cover packages that the UPS driver can put over my delivered packages when it is bad weather. It can also be used to cover and protect a floor while you are working on the walls in a 12' long area such as for sanding or painting. You can tape it to the floor or baseboard so that it stays put while you spray paint a wall above it. Then you can roll it up, take it outside and hose it down to clean it. This tarp has a lot of useful purposes.

Well what can one say about a tarp? I needed something to protect dense evergreen shrubs and garden areas during house painting. This tarp is lightweight, a bit stiff and has a slick surface, so it was easy to drag around and to toss over bushes and plantings, without crushing plants underneath, yet it stays in place in a wind. The light weight also makes it easy to store on a high shelf. It seems like extremely tough material.
