[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 6 year old son and am very happy that I did. My son loves it. It has little cute features such as chalkboard, grill, sink, etc which makes it very fun little ones. Although wood quality and packaging are not the best, I will definitely recommend this buy. Product delivering experience was awful!! Damage boxes. Backyard Discovery needs to be involved from start to finish including holding the delivery company accountable.

We've had it up in our backyard for about a month now and it was the best purchase we've made all year. We were on a waiting list for another set and the company reached out about this new release and we were able to snag one and have it delivered quickly. We really appreciated that. The kids love it. It looks so much nicer than a lot of other sets we looked at and the quality seems good so far. We hired someone local to assemble it and he noted that the quality is much better than anything he has put together and it was easier to assemble as well. Now, anyone know where I can get Clorox wipes?!

We purchased this a month ago and had it up the next weekend. It was pretty easy for my husband to put together with the help of two friends. Our three year old son is obsessed with it and I know our younger one will be two (he’s only a few months old). His favorite feature is the spider web swing!

We couldn’t be happier with our purchase of the Cedar Cove Swing Set! The quality is great and the kiddos absolutely love it! Would definitely recommend.

Although the shipping company took a bit to deliver this product that does not fall on the manufacturer. This play set is great! Enough different things on it to keep multiple kids busy, very sturdy, and so nice looking! My husband mostly out this together himself and had his father help him with the clubhouse section. It took a few days of off and on work. Just a note to BD: your letter/number stamps need to be a bit clearer. The instruction book was so easy to follow and the video is super helpful. There was never a time my husband had to question instructions. To anyone purchasing one of these-take the extra time to seal all of the wood before putting it together. That way you get all cracks and crevices and it will last longer. My husband did that and that took a week to do before even putting it together, but trust me it’s well worth it. The company tells you to keep everything and just mark on the slip what was damaged. I will say not one item was damaged! The delivery driver even commented on how good the boxes looked and that large shipments like this don’t usually look so good. The whole experience was positive so thanks BD!

We had purchased this playset for my son after his summer camps were all cancelled due to COVID-19. We wanted something he could have fun with outside. Jackpot! He has spent hours every day on our new playset. His cousins also love it! It did take about 20 hours to build (over 3 days) but those are memories that we will have forever. The set is extremely sturdy and looks amazing. We could not be happier with our purchase!

Easy assembly, took about 14 hours with 2 people working non stop.

One box was completely open when it came, luckily all the parts were there. It was an absolute nightmare to assemble. There were 4 of us and it took every bit of 14 plus hours. My sister and I put together the slide(both and only the slides) it took us 10 hours. My husband and friend put together the rest while we were doing the slides.

When this arrived and we got it assembled I knew I made the right decision when I bought this for my son’s 8th birthday. I can’t keep him off of it and even his 10 month old brother gets enjoyment out of it using his baby swing on it. It’s very nicely built and we are definitely the “happening “ spot in the neighborhood, all of his friends are always wanting to come play on it. I would definitely recommend and looking forward to the enjoyment both my kids will get out of this for years to come. Assembly is also pretty easy. My fiancée built this mostly by himself and it took about 4 days

This is perfect for my 3 kids ages 3,5,7 and extended family. My husband and I set up this play set over the weekend. I definitely recommend using the BILT app. The swingset was easy to track and there was no damage to any of the wood.

This swing set is amazing!!! It took 3 men about 15 hours total to assemble, but the end result was worth it! Our 3 year old LOVES it and he wants to be outside all of the time now. The quality is superb! Very happy customer!!

We just had our swing set put together this week and both of our girls live on it now!! The set itself is very sturdy and is a great size. It’s perfect for my 2.5 and 6 year old - but will also last them many years, which is what we wanted. We had this set professionally installed, and it was done in less than 1 day. The set is excellent quality, and I even climbed up into the play house and felt very secure! Highly recommend.

We purchased this swing set basically because it was the absolute last swing set we could find anywhere in the United States. We had purchased a different set through a different company and the day it was supposed to be delivered they canceled the order and we were left stranded. My daughter had so been looking forward to her own swing set this summer. I'm so happy that other company canceled our order because we are THRILLED with the results of the set we ordered from Backyard Discovery. I read several reviews that the wood is cheap and thin and these swing sets won't last. That is not our experience. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because we did receive one piece of damaged wood and had to replace it with a board we purchased at a home improvement store. But one board out of all the boards that came is really not that big of a deal. The reason I wanted to write this review was to caution people about the assembly. I read several reviews where people claimed to put together a set like this in 10 hours....impossible. We started off hiring a contractor to build it but after 15 hours of paying him and another guy and them only getting not even halfway done- we decided to finish it ourselves. It took us an additional 16-18 hours to finish the swing set. And that's with 3-4 grown adults. It's not the instructions- those are straight forward and easy to understand. It's the sheer volume of wood and hardware that is included. The tube slide took almost a full day itself to put together. My point is -spend the extra money to have it professionally installed. Or if you plan on doing it yourself- have at least 3 adults and plan on it taking 4-5 full days to complete. Unless you're a professional yourself. We're so happy with the purchase but it is definitely a labor of love to put this thing together!

We ordered this for our kids, 2yr and 3 yr old. They love everything able it! The slides, swings, rock wall, kitchen and chalk board are all so much fun. They will be able to grow with the playground and love it for a long long time. Here is why I didn’t rate it 5 stars. The directions weren’t terrible. It took a lot longer to put together than I could’ve imagined and I am pretty decent with tools and following directions. I did add a few bigger screws in a few places. For the money, I feel like the wood is a little thin, and should include a better sealant. But like I said I am happy and would recommend it to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this up for 5 months and my kids have played on it so many times and it is still holding up well! Great quality!

The delivery was rough. Took about a month to get to my house. I was comped $100 for the late delivery so that was nice and I was pleased with the customer service. As for the quality, it's not bad. Feels a little weaker than I had hoped (being a 225 lbs guy, being on it to assemble the thing was a little iffy). I know the dimensions are on here but it's definitely smaller than I had hoped. All of that said, my 2 year old loves it, and I'm sure he'll like it for a few years at least.

Wood quality is horrible, playset has cracking sounds every time my kids go on it and the fact that you guys do not sell parts and accessories for my playset is just dumb. Lazy business methods if you ask me. What if a part breaks a few years later? Can't replace it? That really sucks!

Lots of hardware was hard to read. As well as the dark stain and dark labelling was very complex to identify. Was missing 2 bolt out of 2000. Not bad and very easy to work with both the paper and the app. Quality product but will not accommodate my weight on the second level. Could be a bit more robust. Took me 70 hours to build by myself definetly recommend 2 people. Good product overall and happy with the precision of the assembly. My girls loves it.

Our grandchildren love their new swingset! The slides are awesome and they love the grill where they can pretend to prepare hotdogs for us to eat! Lots of fun with this swingset!!

3 piece slide that takes 2 hrs to put together, tube slide that it takes 3 hrs, warped wall panels, rope for the swings. We got this thing 80% completed and realized that we should have bought a Gorilla. That's exactly what we did, tore it down and returned to the store. This will not last in the elements and it'll be a pile of kindling in your backyard in a single season. This set is a lot of sizzle and no steak. Buy a Gorilla, they have less bells and whistles but they're rugged and will last.

very time consuming to put together

The shipment came early. Loved the app that came with the playground set. It made assembly very straight forward. Customer service helped with missing parts by shipping them very fast.

Well thought out design but made out of very thin and poor quality wood. For $2000 I expected better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my son's girls. Instructions & assembly went well. Did it in January in Minnesota. Looks nice. All pieces were good. Curve tunnel needed one part replaced. Layout all parts & fasteners before starting.

We bought this last summer to have an option in our backyard for the kids to go play on vs loading them up and driving to a local park. Kids loving having options on what they want to do with 2 slides, 3 swing options, or having their "picnic" with the little grill. For the most part good quality, we paid to have someone put together and install. Wish some of the pieces were a little heavier duty, but has held up through one Wisconsin winter.

Instructions were a mess and several pieces either did not match up or were missing. Outside of that, it's a great play set.
