When i ordered this mask from Home Depot, i expected some cheap Chinese made piece of wood with some paint slapped on the front. I honestly must say that i am BLOWN AWAY by the authenticity and quality of this piece.
As a collector of masks from around the world, i own quite a few from Hawaii, Africa and South America. I expected to toss this piece into the yard as something disposable. Alas, i was pleasantly mistaken! This 20" tall mask is made in Indonesia, out of a very light yet durable wood. The painting is absolutely hand done, and with incredible attention to detail. The colors and tones of this piece beg me to place as one of the centerpieces of my collection!
The only part that Home Depot got wrong with this is piece is by placing it in the "Outdoor" section. These beautiful masks deserve to be placed indoors in locations of prominence!

Great looking Hawaiian decoration indoors or out. The quality and detail are very good and do not have the appearance of a cheap flair piece. It is easy to hang and stands out well without being tacky. There are multiple varieties to choose from. You can decide to use only one on its own or several to emphasize an area. You will really enjoy this mask whether you keep it out all the time or just for special occasions.

The tiki hawaiian mask is a great addition to a bare wall. Great art, made of wood and hand painted to look as authentic as the real thing costing many dollars more. It is made of high quality material which I believe to be real wood. It is easy to clean and can be hung inside or outside. I chose for now to hang them in the living room. It is stylish and very beautiful. Recommend

LOVE THE TIKI MAN. An absolute must for a pool or summer themed bar area. These are painted incredibly well and look like something you would take home as a souvenir from Hawaii. The quality is outstanding. The wood itself is nice and think and feels like it would not crack or chip if dropped accidentally. The hook to hang it on the wall is in a great location to stay hidden. This is an absolute must for your summer fun!

i got the Backyard X-Scapes 20 in. Tiki Mask Hawaiian Dot Art Wood Wall Decor because I think it looks really cool and goes with my reptile rescue and the general theme of my place.
like before you enter you should see masks like this one on the walls.
it is made from real wood and is hand carved, has a sting on the back to hang it from, the string is not at all heavy duty.
comes with no paper work of any kind.

I really like this tiki mask, The color is vibrant and it matches perfectly with the color of my deck. I love the details of the art work on it. I wanted something different for my decor on the deck, it is very easy to hang. So when I saw this I thought it was certainly different, but I wasn't sure I would like it. But I really do.I also got the other colors in this mask because lI liked this one I will bring it inside when winter sets in to keep it looking good each year.

Theses masks are fun and quite large at approximately 20". I hang wooden masks all over my yard and in my gardens over the summer. Most are similar in materials and paint jobs. The ones I've owned over the years have faded and needed repainting, but I have not owned this one long enough to say how long it will last outdoors. It is colorful with interesting detail. Just has a basic d-ring hanger and string on the back. Nothing complicated and easily replaceable if needed. It's a mask, not a totem pole so doesn't stand up well on its own. I like it quite a lot, but will keep it indoors over the winter.

This is mask has a very rustic and tribal attraction to it. It would be a focal point of any wall decor and a definite conversation piece. It looks like what ancient tribes hung in front of their homes to ward off evil spirits. The piece is well made of high quality wood and the colors draw from earthy natural tones. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had included the legend behind each mask as they say that each mask bestows certain blessings on the area where it is put. The attached hanger made it easy to install.

No two of these quality masks are quite the same just makes them that much cooler! Very light weight but sturdy wood. Beautifully painted and a unique look for your home or deck. Since they don't weigh much it only takes a thumb tack or push pin to hold them up. They are very colorful, but smartly use only primary colors to enhance their authenticity. You need more than one!
