I bought this to use for the ceiling of a camper van because it was a light natural color and flexible enough to conform to the curved ceiling. However I was extremely disappointed with how filthy the two rolls were.

Since our walls have metal studs, we decided to glue panels to the wall with Loctite Power Grab Ultimate paneling cement. It worked like a charm. I am Very happy with the results. It looks amazing!

Strictly just bamboo strips. No hardware. No way of hanging it. NOT worth $80!

I've always found a nice, simplistic, tropical feeling décor is very relaxing. This product is great to create just such a feeling. I found it very easy to work with and looks great. Whether you plan to use it as a wall covering to create a statement wall, cover your bar, or ceiling - there are hundreds of uses for this rich bamboo panel. The one thing I found disappointing was that it is not recommended for outdoor use.

This is a very attractive bamboo panel. It measures 96” wide by 48” high. It is completely light-tight so you cannot see through it at all. I had hoped to use it like a rollable draw shade, but I misread the measurements and was unable to do so. Instead I used it as it was intended: as a wall panel covering. It looks great and should last a good long time. It’s also washable and could be painted if desired (but I wouldn’t…the natural bamboo color is really nice looking).

Very cool paneling. I used this to create a tiki bar for my friends luaus birthday party. This was easy to wrap around the bottom of the bar, it is also very easy to trim. I still have plenty of extra for use in future projects. Too bad they say not to use it outdoors, I wouldn’t mind putting it over my fence to make it look better. All in all I am very happy with this product. If you are thinking of this type of product the quality of this bamboo and the construction of the roll is very good. You can’t go wrong. Thank you!

I received this piece of bamboo. It is a great color and very strudy. Great for dressing up a room or even your back yard fence. It is great looking and very easy to work with. You can cut it down or make many shapes to complement your home. This is a great idea for dressing up a wall or door. I would recommend this product. It is a great item. Thank you

This NATURAL BAMBOO PANEL is 48 IN. H X 96 IN. L, so in height it is somewhat short. The panels come attached to seem individual. I have mounted it to the fence I have in the back to create a privacy screen for an outside shower that I will be using this summer. This one piece is just enough for two sides of my outside shower so once piece is not enough. I like the texture and style, it makes it seems like I am at an oasis the way I used it outside, surrounded by plants.

The individual strips on this Natural Bamboo panel are all fully finished - in other words, the nodes are sanded flat so the whole strip is flat, and the edges are perfectly straight. It still looks like bamboo, but it has a 'clean' look to it. Also the backing does not show through because there are no gaps bewteen the strips, since the edges are straight. The color is a very neutral and light, with little variance. It looks really nice. Since the strips are dimensionally finished, the panel itself is much thinner and lighter. It's only 1/8 thick, and weights under 8 pounds - half as much as the Raw finish ones. These would be good panels for the ceiling thanks to the light weight. Or for making your own tambour roll-up doors. The backing is thin but substantial and makes it a very sturdy panel. There's no odor other than a slight hint of real bamboo.

Vertical fabric strips, with about 8 inch spacing, in addition to full mesh backing, are used to hold the panel together. This makes the whole thing pretty strong. The backing is white and shows through some of the strips when flat, and more so if curved outward. The bamboo itself is uncoated and the color comes from the variety of bamboo used. The Raw Burnt panel has a definite yellow color and looks good when combined with other similar woods. The nodes are charred and break up the "sea of color." There are minor chips and nicks here and there on the surface of the strips, giving it a natural look. These will bend forward to approximately 10 inch radius, and of course bend back to almost any radius. Strips are about 3/4 inch wide, and the panel itself is about 3/16 inch thick. The full roll weighs almost 15 pounds. There's no odor, which is important if you use it indoors.

The Raw Green color looks good outdoors, so I used this to decorate a small table that has a round base about 2 feet in diameter. It took two people to install it because it is pretty heavy, it weighs almost 15 pounds. I used small finish nails and construction adhesive, and it held really well. It is raw bamboo, but I left it uncoated because it has a 'flat' look which I like. The color is definitely a greenish shade, and the nodes have been charred slightly which breaks up the big area of solid color. Overall it looks nice, and adds that beach / tropical look.

Very attractive bamboo panel. We have looked at a number of similar products that did not come up to the quality of this one. We are in the process of installing a tiki bar for an outdoor patio and this is the perfect cover for the front of the bar. The panel is easy to cut using a table saw for horizontal cuts and any vertical cuts are a snap just using a simple utility knife. We are very pleased and would recommend this to anyone searching for that tropical paradise look and feel!

This bamboo panel comes rolled and covered with clear plastic. You can see immediately that it is lighter in color than natural bamboo. It's still a pretty color. I was confused by the description, because I thought the panel would be designed to hang like a curtain or screen for my porch. Unfortunately I would need to make significant alterations and ruin the panel to do that. I'm not sure what to do with it, now. Nonetheless, it's a strong, heavy, peice.

48 IN. H X 96 IN. L BAMBOO PANEL DARK CHOCOLATE is an easy way to put a panel a great look. I love its dark color which is gorgeous. It does not look cheap at all. I used a glue to install this because I was little worried that staple may crack the wood. Mine is for inside but for out side you might want to use a staple. You might want to install a finish at the end. Overall, I love its look and quality.

48 IN. H X 96 IN. L BAMBOO PANEL NATURAL RAW BURNT is a unique way to put a panel. Color is pretty and give a natural look. You can glue it or staple it. I used a glue because I was little worried that staple may crack the wood. Since I used it for inside use, I did not consider the heat of Texas but Still I will have to see if glue will hold this up for a long time. You might want to put some thing for a finish.

This is a nice item for covering a wall or as a outdoor sand mat. We will be using this as a ground mat when we are camping. This works great to keep the area around an RV door clean of dirt and sand. This rolls up into a compact 4" round roll that stores easily in the basement compartment of our RV. Highly recommend this item since its well constructed and easy to handle.

Wanted to decorate the back patio/lounging area and had a few tiki styled items to start with but as far as decorations go, it was a bust. I desperately needed some decor to enhance the area. This bamboo panel was just what I needed. It really added a special Island touch, that seriously made the outdoor area seem so different. Like I was away from home. I was on a remote island and this area was my sanctuary. It is such a stress-free zone area that I literally grab a glass of wine and go sit on the porch and de-stress. It really is amazing how your surroundings control your mood and emotions. I love it! So well made and easy to attach to any surface, literally. Need more panels of the same, for sure.

The decorative bamboo panels are an easy addition to add to that blank wall. I personally use mine as a backdrop for my portrait and head shot work as it has a great color and design. The panels themselves can be attached to many different types of walls including brick, wood or you painted wall. I think that they are made of quality materials and should last a long time.

This was a great addition to my Tiki bar. I measured the length that I wanted and cut it on a band saw at a metal shop. I trimmed a foot off of the top to make the bottom fit, then I used the one foot portion for a panel at the top. It looks really great. The bamboo is easy to clean and it does not pick up a lot of dust. The light color makes it better in the dimly lit area without being overpowering.

For crosscuts less than 48 inches, use a chop saw to cut the entire role. It’s easy to cut the panels along the grain with a razor knife and straight edge. I used a brad nailer to install the panels and it worked great. The panels can also be installed with glue or staples. The quality is excellent and it really provides pleasing accent to the room.

I wanted to create a festive backyard party place and added a bar but didn’t know how I was going to get that island feeling until I came across this bamboo paneling. It was easy to work with and the perfect height for a outdoor bar and didn’t have to trim the bamboo in any way. I also used some for the inside of our ‘changing hut’ giving it the feeling of being in the tropics without having to travel. Turned out great and our friends were impressed by the quality.

This product is a high quality bamboo panel, not the thin reed type you might be used to seeing. The panel is held together with a fabric backing that is fairly flexible and the bamboo is glued to the backing. This panel is listed on the HomeDepot website in the Garden Fence Panel section but if you read the manufacturers instructions you will find that this particular panel is for inside installations only. This is a raw bamboo product so it can be stained to what ever color suits your application.

I nailed these up in a doorway and put a cabinet up on the back side for a bar and pantry. I thought I would have to cover up the plain side on the back, but it looks great as well! This is supposed to be a floor item, but it looks great hanging up. I used nails in different slat spacing to distribute the load. Bamboo is a wonderful decorating item.

We picked up a 4ft x 8 ft panel to evaluate whether it would work as a a covering to a porch ceiling. The roof joists were exposed on our back porch and wanted to cover them to give a "finished" appearance. But because of the exposure to weather elements, we were concerned with what product would be suitable to cover that area. As a trial we applied 1/4 inch plywood to the rafters and glued the Backyard X-Scape bamboo tambour panel - WOW what a beautiful finish. We liked it so much we've returned to Home Depot and picked up several more roles to complete our project. Once complete we will seal with satin polyurethane. Bamboo doesn't warp like other wood fibers so you could use this all around your outdoor spaces and it's durable. The Backyard X-Scape bamboo panels are a flexible mat form of near 3/4 inch slats and very easy to work with. This product would be so versatile to creatively use around the home - you could use as kitchen cabinet inserts or countertop backsplashes, interior ceilings. I plan to use the leftover pieces to cover porch planters.

I've used several rolls of tortoise shell bamboo tambour panels as wall coverings in my home tiki bar. It serves its purpose well. This is not load-bearing. Consider it a flexible version of traditional wood paneling. Some rolls arrived green, which concerned me, but faded to the golden yellow in the photos as it aged.

I got this to create a privacy/shade to use on my west-facing patio, though I'm still not sure exactly how I 'm going to use it. First I was thinking of making a roller shade out of it, but it might work well as a framed panel too. Because it's natural, I can finish it pretty much any way I want, and I might even cut it down the middle and make two panels about 2 feet wide - so many possibilities. The back of this has a lightweight mesh that holds it all together so I'm not sure how that will hold up outdoors, but if I frame it as is that shouldn't be a problem. If I turn it into a roller shade I might have to remove the mesh and string each slat as it would be in a ready-made shade. Either way I'm going to have fun with this.

I am rehabbing my raised pool deck railing, and I wanted a little more privacy than my latticework fence provided (My neighbors are way more interested in by business than I am comfortable with) and I thought this 48 IN. H X 96 IN. L BAMBOO PANEL DARK CHOCOLATE would be the perfect answer. Turns out I'm a smart guy. So easy to install a DIY'er can do it! Looks great and being bamboo, it should weather well.
