We had our porch remodeled to a 3-season porch with actual windows so we needed new light-filtering shades since the sun sets on that side of the house.
We received the shades quickly AND they were very easy to install.
One note: the hardware IS NOT INCLUDED, which I was not aware of when I ordered the shades or I would have ordered it at that time. Not a big deal since our local Home Depot DOES have the hardware in stock so we were able
To proceed with the installation.
One more note: of the 4 shades we ordered, 3 of them were not cut to the measurements we provided when we ordered them. We took the 3 shades into Home Depot and they quickly cut the excess 1.75” off and we were good to go.
Our porch looks AMAZING with the addition of these beautiful yet classical simple shades. We are VERY happy even with the few hiccups mentioned above!

I gave these shades only two stars, and yet still recommend them, sort of.
There are good and bad points:
1. Really Bad: The way Bali measures them is ridiculous—adding two inches to the size selected. If you pick a shade that is, say, 39" wide, the actual size is 41" wide. It's pretty counterintuitive. They do disclose this on their web page--select the size you want in the upper right and then, before you click order, rill down into the product details,. You will note that the dimensions are wider than you selected, two higher than the number you picked. Why does Bali that? If a customer picks a width, send them a shade at that width.
2. Bad: The shades I received were a bit frayed at the edges after custom cutting.
3. Good: Once in the windows, they are very attractive and let in a lot of light (which is what I wanted in a solar shade). In that sense they are a success.
4. Good: The price. They are very reasonable compared to other shades I looked at.
I just wish Bali did a better job of listing the measurements and cutting the fabric edges. They get the job done at a good price, but there is room for improvement.

A bit disappointed with the material quality of this blinds....
A bit disappointed with the material quality of this blinds. It will crack, peel or scratch easily when handled. Rolling mechanism does not work that well.

tiny holes
Not clear that the product is light filtering, so it is see-through. Also the ends add 2 inches total.

Hello. Thank you for contacting us at Bali Customer Care. I apologize for the confusion. All of the shades would allow light to filter unless it has a description of blackout. Please specify what you are describing with the ends? The end caps should be tapped into the headrail.
