Beautiful, heavy, exactly what I wanted. Follow the directions on the El part. Once we read that review we were able to get it together easily.

Surprised that this was pretty much exactly what I'd wanted. Seems well-made, pretty solid, heavy brass body. Porcelain levers are pretty nice. Considering what you can spend on much uglier, crappier faucets, this actually fit our old tub perfectly and is good value. I feel like if it sucks, I won't find out for 15-20 years :) Only drawback was having to buy this and a competitor's similar product (Elizabethan Classics) online to compare, neither were carried locally and just returned the EC one. This one was $10 cheaper but way better, or, way more exactly what I wanted. Works with the EC shower ring which has a sort of proprietary compression fitting for the riser, not threaded like many kits.

Appears to be very high quality, had some leakage at first where rubber washer meets existing plumbing, but this was corrected by tightening nut.

My husband installed this in our claw foot tub, and it's perfect. He isn't the handiest guy, and he was able to install it without much difficulty. It works great.

While the unit itself works fine, two things need to be listed about this faucet: 1. The thread size is a 3/4 machine thread (non standard), which requires that you purchase feeder tubes a from the manufacturer. 2. The connection to the shower pipe is a compression fitting, not a screw fitting.

Good quality, easy to install, this is the second one I purchased from H.D and just wish it would be a bit more affordable.

FYI, this faucet does not meet code for mounting to the wall of a tub. Faucets must have an air gap between where the water comes out and the highest point the water can rise or you risk having your dirty bath water backflow into your supply lines and someone drinking it. Think about that for a second...gross. Also, the highest point the water can rise is the RIM of the tub NOT the bottom of the overflow hole. While it will fit into the standard spacing on a clawfoot tub it is illegal to do so and while no one is likely to come and arrest you, you may end up drinking urine flavored water or worse.

Great fit for my claw foot tub

It's too soon a talk about the product from the terms of longevity and I will do a follow-up review later. However, in terms of appearance and precision of manufacturing, this is a beautiful fixture that is nicely machined and finished. Here's the rub though. The faucet inlets are 3/4" MIP not NPT. We had a devil of a time finding suitable connectors, etc. to install the fitting in the claw-foot bathtub. Sharkbites don't fit and neither do most bath connectors in the U.S. I learned that Pegasus/Berkley makes a nice chrome attachment set (item no 5576) that will get the job done for about $60. We ended up going to a specialty fittings store and buying a 3/4" female (FIP) fitting with a PEX barb that allowed us to hook up the plumbing.

We hired a plumber to install the faucet on our cast irontub that's100 years old. He had no problems with the installation. The faucet is beautiful and well made. We were very impressed by the quality of the faucet and the price was reasonable.

For the money, this is a really good product. The finish is good and installation was easy. This faucet was a replacement for another that was difficult to use and cost twice as much. I may buy another one as a backup just because there are so few manufacturers of claw foot tub faucets.

The only problem I have is the screws for the handles loosen

I am not sure yet, the cold water comes on strong but the hot just barely comes out we have decided that it is in the faucet itself, not happy with it right now

Replaced an older faucet with this one. It seems well made and looks fantastic! My only issue with this faucet was that threaded the pipes you attach to your water lines are not static and turned while i was tightening my water lines. As a result the connections leaked, so I had to improvise a way to make a water tight connection. I have no idea why these pipes turn, my previous faucet's pipes did not. Still, despite this single issue I would highly recommend this product as it looks and functions great once it is installed.

It is beautiful. love the look. Did have a plumber install it, but if I could of gotten my old faucet off, this one would have been easy to install without a plumber's help.
