Gate latch

Though this lock can be used to pull or push a gate open, mounting it on the pull way the lever will be on the inside making it a bite strange if you are opening it front the front. You can open it from the front ( pull side) but there is no lever just the locking part. I also needed to cut the bolts shorter to fit on the actual gate. I used the same Veranda fence but they ones they include were longer than needed.

Not heavy duty

This is advertised as a heavy duty gate latch and it just isn't! Returning to store today. I've installed fences for five years and this is a medium to light duty gate latch. Thanks
