Was great to help a non-Watchdog sump pump fit. The install I did was with an Everbilt 1/2 and the Quick Connect Pipe saved me from having to buy additional PVC, connectors, and do any cutting.
Ease of use was great

This was a huge time-saver as it included all of the necessary connections, back flow preventer, and weep hole all in one. It is 1-1/2" male tip to fit most sump pumps. I had little to no clue how to install a newer sump pump and this was worth the money for me. All I had to do was add a little thread tape and turn it into the discharge on the pump. From there, simple adjustments were needed and my pump was ready to go. The rubber seems like quality material and the connections are already pre-glued so they are water ready out of the box.

This is a bit pricey, but it simplifies the job of installing a sump pump, as it includes the connection to the pump, and a good quality check valve, all in one.

There is a pre-drilled weep hole just below where the check valve attaches to the PVC pipe that has a red dot marked on it so you can see where the whole is drilled. If this is where you are seeing the water shoot out of this is normal and is there to prevent air lock. For more information you can contact our service team at 800-991-0466 option 3. The glue joint leaks. No quality control.

We are sorry to hear you are having issues with this pipe assembly. There is a built-in weep hole that comes pre-drilled at the glue joint to prevent air lock. We have a red marker to indicate where that is. If that is where water is coming from it is normal. Not compatible with Special+ Connect
Does not work with Special+ Connect back up system made by the same manufacturer...It even suggests using the quick connect in the manual.. The male piece at the bottom is 1 1/2" threaded but the adapter that comes with the pump is female not threaded. Whole reason I got this was so I didn't have to glue anything, and I cant use glue give male threaded female non-threaded. Also not sure why they just don't have a 1 1/2" adapter on the Special+ Connect pump as it appears their other pumps do. Disappointed. Either have to find a double threaded adapter (not common) or return this.

This product is not designed for use with our battery backup systems, as they all have a 1 ¼” discharge. This product is designed for use with our AC primary pumps, which use a 1 ½” discharge. This adaptor was suppose to ease connecting the pump to the discharge line. Not sure why the male and female threads abd size of them were NOT taken into account as they pertain to matching up on both ends.
