Nice fryer for small batches

Love my new fryer, it was easy to assemble and fired right up the first time with no issues. It heats really quickly and cooks well. Keep an eye on the temperature gauge because this thing cooks. It wasn't really heavy, so I was able to move it easily to allow it to cool down. Once cool the grease drains right out of the bottom. That's the best feature.

This fryer is too small for such a large price, the regulator that came with it was inoperable so I fried my fish indoors on the stovetop which took about the same time on the bayou classic. The company sent me a new regulator and if it doesn’t work trust and believe I’ll be returning the product for a full refund.

The drain needs to be futher from the bottom to be able to drain the oil free from frying debree like flour and cornmeal. Where it is the stuff clogs the drain after a big fry. The thing is heavy duty, heats up fast, temperature is easy to control. It comes with two sets of legs, long ones so it stands alone, short one for table top use. Very convenient, I used them both and both worked well, they were very sturdy. But you can't use the drain with the short legs. The fry basket is strong, but you can't hang it to drain and close the lid, which really isn't very necessary. Like anything involved with frying, it's work to clean, but not harder than any other fryer I've used. I like this, and am glad I bought it.

Awesome fryer for small family. Highly recommend

Fantastic product! As others have said, this heats up quickly and holds heat no matter what you drop in it. Cleaning it is much easier than a typical frying pot. Once the oil coils, I just drain it through filtered funnel that strains out all the particles, putting the oil back into the original container. Then I store the container in a dark closet for later use. To wash out the cooker, I first just spray the inside out with the water hose and let it run out of the open valve. Then I close the valve off. I’ll take a 3 gallon bucket and fill it with hot water from the kitchen sink along with a few squirts of Dawn. Pour that in the fryer, and quickly brush the sides down with a long handle dish brush, Then drain that out and rinse with the water hose again. Entire process takes 5 minutes.
