Very well made, well thought out product. I took some time to understand all of the instructions and laid out the pieces before starting to screw anything. This was straight forward and assembled in about an hour. There were two screw holes on the corners I had to drill, but didn’t cause any issues. Took two to hold it up and one to put the bolts in, so plan accordingly. This looks beautiful over our new doorway. I like the cap for the top to keep the rain out. We added silicone against the house. I would certainly purchase another,and recommend.

I purchased the 8t wide awing on Oct 16 which was delivered yesterday. I had two contractor at the house today to install it and it had 1 missing panel and 2 panels with dents. I tried to call their 817.354.9600, there is only automated message to leave a message or send them email for faster service....WOW, how big is this company that does not even have phone support. I sure hope that the reply to my email in the next 24hours before I wrap it up and return to HD to purchase another one.

No instructions and 75 pieces l. Maybe a nice puece but im trying to figure out oall these pieces. Frustrating

The instructions on these need a major overhaul. They are impossible to follow for anyone that isn't extremely handy at building things. The video helps but would be better with 2 videos, one for the smaller units and one for the larger. The plastic corner inserts were not tight at all.

Overall sturdiness and quality is great. Self tapping screws for the frame would be an improvement. A couple of the screws broke with impact driver.

Important to note... size is not adjustable, cannot cut. But quality of material was is really good.

Assembly a bit difficult, other than that a real nice awning. It is very sturdy.Looks very nice.

Looks great. Holes were not drilled and instructions were not always clear, but now that it is up, we're happy with the choice. A good alternative to expensive custom built. Glad we got the 36" extension it helps with shading our dining room doors.

Absolutely beautiful and sturdy. Love it. HOWEVER assembling it was a nightmare because several holes didn’t match up. Turned to YouTube for video instructions from the manufacturer and found that some of their steps contradicted the written instructions from the same manufacturer! At any rate, it’s awesome when it’s finally put together but I’ll never get that unexpectedly long day of assembly back.

Pleased with the final product. Assembly and mounting was a little difficult due to the size of the awning. Would recommend.

Purchased this to mount over a 7' opening. What the awntech and this site do not show you is there is a third center bracket that must be used for the larger size awnings. This means the bottom of the awning must be even or higher then the door or window opening. This contradicts the pictures shown here and on the Awntech website. The end of Awntech’s installation video on YouTube shows a good explanation of what this bar looks like. Too bad the website doesn't mention it anywhere or have pictures of the larger awnings

A bit more difficult to install than described. Once up though, product looks and functions great!
