Works great....for 2 or 3 minutes. Not worth the money for $11 let alone $20 or more at some distributers. The O² is far cheaper to produce using an oxygen concentrator as opposed to the price of LP gas. This being said the 0² should be about the cost of LP. The largest expense is the container.

This is a great product for oxygenating my beer yeast starter cultures, and for adding O2 late in the fermentation of high gravity beers. Yeah, it is expensive for what you get. But you only need a few seconds of O2 and the yeast are very happy to get it! I use a 0.5 micron difusser head. One bottle is good for MANY starter cultures and/or batches of high gravity beer.

Wish the tank was bigger and had more oxygen. You definitely don't get your money worth from it at all.

These are too small, as other reviews have noted. If it burns at a 4:1 ratio, the oxygen tanks should be available in larger sizes, or bulk package for cost savings.

The oxygen cylinder is too small and overpriced. If using in conjuction with Mapp for brazing you can count on the oxygen to empty within 10-15 minutes of use for a nuetral flame. The brazing kit would be fine if you could get a larger oxygen cylinder and the price was lower. In reality, this kit works great for quick brazing projects on thin material. I use it to braze steel hydraulic tractor lines that have small holes rubbed through due to vibration. I first purchased the kit to braze a 3/4inch steel nipple into a steel hydraulic tank. Both the nipple and tank were 20-24gauge metal. It took two cylinders of oxygen to complete the weld.

Oxy tank should have greater volume of gas. 1.4oz. Is good for about 5min. At $14 per cylinder, it's a total ripoff.

The volume of gas in these cylinders is the same as in their propane bottles, just under 1 cubic foot. But oxyfuel torches operate at a 4:1 ratio. So you will need 4 of these oxygen bottles for every 1 propane bottle. In the time it takes to switch oxygen bottles you're losing any heat you're gaining. Instead of buying these just hold your torch in the same spot for a little bit longer for the same effect. FYI refilling a 244 cubic foot tank cost about $20.

I can stick these in my pockets if need be. Karen seems to be complaining about 1 issue or another . No they are not very professional ....yes they empty out quickly and cost more than regular oxy/act rig to operate .. ..but my God are they convenient

I give it such a low rating because the oxygen only lasts about 5 min. Not long enough to do anything with.

Runs out fairly quickly but gets the job done I use this in jewelry manufacturing for quick meltdowns

They’re fine for short run projects. They don’t last long so stock up or spend the money to buy a bigger torch.
