The kit worked out great. I’m very happy with the result and enjoyed doing the build without having to engineer it and make ten trips back to the store for more supplies.

My son is putting together the shed. It has been fairly easy for him but lot's of instructions. Must have a electric saw to do the task, plus a nail gun. It seems that a few pieces were missing but easily purchased at Home Depot. It isn't completed yet but will show you a picture of it in progress.

This shed kit came in 2 deliveries, one from Home Depot and the other from the Shed Company, but both were reasonably quick with no problems and all pieces present and accounted for. My husband is pretty handy so it wasn't to hard to understand the instructions but we did have to stop and think it through on a few sections. The shed company offered a phone number to call during business hours and a cell phone to call after hours. We wanted to double check the measurements for one section so we did use the after hours number, they answered the call and the question happily. Overall, Great shed and great customer service.

Very easy to build, the precut wood makes it very easy. Build and painted shed by myself on a Saturday and roofed it on Sunday. Just the right size very sturdy and looks great.

The whole order was bad. It had a missing window that I ordered and also came with a lot of broken pieces of wood that were supposed to be used for the roof. I submitted a claim to best barns and they never even got back to me. I ended up spending approximately $200 out of pocket on materials that I purchased because they were broken/never arrived, and lost $400 to a contractor that I paid to assemble the shed, when they couldn’t do it because the parts were missing.

Decent product. Most everything was cut to correct lengths. The problem is the way it was shipped. Everything was falling out of the packaging when I picked it up. I should have rejected it and demanded a replacement but I had already lined up a bunch of people to help me build it the next day. I took photos of it.

I wasn't completely sure what to expect from a shed kit. I was very pleasantly surprised. The shed arrived sooner than expected and when I unpacked it, all of the parts were present and brand new. The instructions were easy to follow and I am very pleased with the final product. The boards were fresh and new and precisely cut. The siding fit without almost any adjustments. I am very proud of my new shed.

Felt mislead by picture. No floor, window or shingles included. This should be pointed out up front and not at bottom in small print

Some parts were missing, but it was easier for us to buy the items then wait from sellers. we had a lot of warp boards. If I had to do again I would purchase a tuff shed and have home depot build it. The one thing I am very satisfied with is their customer service. They were on the phone to assist right away. downside, its only weekdays and not weekends.

If you are looking for a complete,easy to assemble without modifications shed,this is not it!! I understood in the beginning that i would have to buy roofing material and a few extras. However, plan on spending an extra $800 to $1000 to make this shed sturdy and functional. I purchased the one with a floor, which came from Homedepot direct, but also I had to cut everything and did not come with any instructions to make it applicable to the shed that was on it's way. I called Best barns for a floor plan and they were awesome, very polite and helpful and provided the information I needed. Now comes the shed...during assembly I discovered their tolerances and without bracing, this shed leaves a lot to be desired.( I have done and do construction, I can tell you it would not hold up!!) I can tell you that every piece I put up was level and straight, but when I put on the siding,doors, roof and every other finish item nothing lines up!!! I read other reviews, and others were pleased with it.(Maybe they received a better product than I did from Best Barns?) I will try to end by saying that I am very unhappy with this experience and product from beginning to end! Delivery itself was poor! They should send it to Homedepot and let them deliver it(which they have a tow motor and can move it in my driveway instead of sending it direct which puts it in the road at the end of my driveway.... YES I SAID IN THE ROAD!!!!). I do think that I would have been better off monetarily, with a lot less aggravation and ended up with a better shed, if I would have started from scratch!!! I would NOT and do not recommend this product, not worth the money!!! Live and learn I guess!!!

It did go together pretty easy but was not thrilled that I had to go online to print off instructions and that you have to use part of the pallet for the 2x4 you need.. they don’t tell you that... keep all of the packing cuz you don’t know if you’ll need it

Easy to assemble and when complete, solid. At least two of my friends will be ordering one.

Nice shed. Directions easy enough to follow. Not a one person job, so make sure you have a couple of people to call! Very pleased!

Shed was well packaged, arrived before est. date, good communication with delivery service. Wood quality was very nice, most of the suds were very straight, which would normally take some time to sort through at local lumber yard. Instructions could use a little more detail to hardware use and assembly for the less experienced DIY. Hardware was good quality, same stuff you'd buy at home depot. overall very nice shed and easy to assemble, I was able to fully assemble by myself, but I'm used to doing jobs by myself, would recommend at least two people.

I was impressed. The lumber is quality, the instructions are detailed on almost everything, and the finished product is coming together beautifully. One suggestion would be more screws and less nails for the construction.

Precision cut quality lumber made the construction process smooth & trouble free. Pleased that all fastners and hardware was included. Kit was missing one slide bolt. A quick call to Best Barns and the part was in my mailbox w/i 48 hrs. Built in 7 days. I am extremely pleased with this product!.

Most of the precut lumber was warped, bent, split, or twisted and all of the uncut lumber was useless. Some trim pieces were missing and others were the wrong size. The only components usable as-is were the manufactured panels. Any convenience conferred by precut wood or letting someone else gather the materials was completely negated by the need to replace a full third of the supplied lumber; the rest had to be clamped/glued/screwed to achieve any functionality. (Which is not the assembly method described in the plans.) If you are at all handy, don't bother with a kit--find a good set of plans and CHOOSE YOUR OWN MATERIALS. To be fair, I did finally complete the shed and it is reasonably straight, square, and plumb. But only after a great deal more hassle than necessary.

Very disappointed with the quality of this product for the price we paid. Biggest disappointment is that all the photos shows several windows and in reality there aren't any. We feel it's a bait and switch situation.

This Best Barn shed is a great DIY project. My wife and completed with about a week of work spread over 3 weeks. Nothing someone with some experience with hammering and sawing for "honey-do" projects can't handle. Having materials pre-cut, organized, and delivered with legible instructions is worth it. Inside height is great - allows me to walk around without bumping my head (I am 6'4"). Please note that finishing the roof of a 10'x12' shed will run about $250 to $300 additional (depending on material quality).
