  • Best rust penetrant out there

This is the best rust penetrant i have ever used. Anything you have that is rusted or corroded that you can't break free, spray a little of this on and let it sit for a few minutes. You will be amazed!

  • Works like Magic...but give it time to work
  • June 20, 2014

Worked like magic to free a frozen, rusted, galvanized, threaded 1 1/2" pipe from a tee in 24 hours. I'd leaned on this with an 18" wrench and a breaker bar and no luck (and I'm a big guy). Before giving up and tearing out the wall gave PB blaster a try - best $5 I've ever spent. Scraped away hardened pipe joint compound, heated it with a torch, gave it several whacks all around with a hammer, and then sprayed several shots of PB into the threads and let it sit overnight. Next day it came apart easily. Really does work but it needs time to penetrate. Don't think you can spray a frozen joint and 10 minutes later pull it apart. Let it sit overnight and it will work wonders.

I won't get into specifics with this one other than to say it helped to remove some valves that had been installed many, many eons ago. I would definitely buy this again, but the can I have should be there again when I need it.

  • Works! I wish it had a straw

I had a stuck bolt on the heat sheild over the turbo of my 2001 Volvo v70. So I put this stuff on it let it sit 24hours hit the bolt with a hammer and just used my spanner with little force. The spray is pretty precise but for automotive use it would help to have a straw for tigh spaces.

This product works great in the wet environment of the swamp cooler, for lubrication and keeping the pillow block bearings from rusting and seizing in my cooler for past two seasons now. Works well for other applications like bike chains, vehicle suspension and trailer bolts, which is why I had to purchase another can.

Did not work at all as advertised. Sprayed it on rusted nut and let it alone for 10 minutes then tried to turn nut but it did not budge. Sprayed it on again very heavily and waited one half hour with same results. Sprayed a lot on the nut and around it and left it over night and nut still would not budge at all.

This stuff is amazing. After trying WD40 for a week, I used 2-3 applications of PB Blaster, and less than 30 minutes later, the nuts came right off of the rusted bolts. This is an absolute must-have for everyone.

This penetrant and lubrication worked like a charm, the hood release on my 1998 cherokee was getting hard to release, I sprayed Big Blaster penetrant in the cable and the lock latches and I got a smooth hatch release.
