Customer Reviews for Bloem Ariana 13 in. Burnt Red Plastic Self-Watering Planter

I bought four and then three more. This is a handsome pot, I love the muted terra cotta color and the sturdiness but lightness. I potted some shishito peppers in four of them and have them out on our brick patio. The plants are growing well, and I bring them in on some chilly nights thanks to their light weight. I’m not one to rave about pots, but I am :-)

I purchased 4 of these pots for herbs. They are in a decorative metal holder that I have hanging on the wall near my kitchen. I punched out the holes at the bottoms so that they would drain easily. The plastic is pretty sturdy, plus they look great!

Not much you can say about a plastic plant pot but the Ariana's come in a range of colors and sizes. I like them because they are self watering and don't drip. I will be able to use these pots for a long time.

I love these Bloem pots because they don't leak water. The Union red is my favorite to give plants in for Christmas, as the dull red color does not outshine the plants and is good for all year. It highlights the outline color of some of my sedum plants. This is Not a true red, more on the maroon scale than is pictured. I also have the planters in brown, blue and yellow and in larger sizes. Can't beat the price!

These are EXACTLY as pictured. One piece of advice though, if your pots are kept outside, do not rely on the advertised "self watering" feature. Your plants will drown if you have a day of heavy rain and it is impossible to tell if you are overwatering a plant because there are no holes in the bottom. One thing Bloem does do, is manufacture easy "punch out" areas on the bottom. These pots are sturdy and NO Hassle. You will see by the pictures, I have Bloem everywhere. There are approximately 20 plus pots you cannot see in the pictures. I have purchased other pots and found those to be weak, so they break easily. I do not have this problem with Bloem pots. They are worth the money.

Heads up folks, these are NOT yellow. They are on orange end of the spectrum. I needed a brisk, cheerful color to match the flowers I need to pot. I had the pots shipped to me so returning them would be on me I guess. I have NO use for orange pots in the shade of orange/size of pots I received. See the pics and judge for yourself. Pots I received are not in use (labeled what I received) and I attached another pic (labeled as number two) to show the color difference is not me or my phone (took a photo of the yellow I expected, or hoped would get would be close). Positive point (and the ONLY reason I gave two stars) - Bloem turns out a sturdy product always. I like the fact Bloem adds the insert in their pots. The pots do not come with holes in them BUT the pots DO come with places on the bottom of the pot you can almost pop out with your thumb. I always use a large drill bit on my Bloem pots and each hole takes me 30 seconds? I own a lot of Bloem pots.

Lightweight, but sturdy. Luke the drainage pocket at the bottom. Easy to cut out the drainage holes from the bottom of the pot.

Love this size and color of pots. They fit perfectly inside our heavy concrete pots. When season's change, we change flowers.

The product met my expectation and I purchase in the future.

Nice larger planter for bigger plants. Good looking and durable.

Like the pot, but the color is more brown than burgandy.

Both came cracked and I had to take the time to return to the store. Very disappointing.
