Flimsy wood stand for heavy planter
Stand doesn’t fit together properly, will have to throw it out most likely. I need the pot for a big plant but will use without stand. Pot is nothing special. Paid way too much for a 14” plastic pot. Will keep it while I look for a better product.

    Three is not a crowd
Quality stand and planter. I woukd have rated 5 stars but gave four becuse i needed an electric drill for holes in the bottom. I have gray in 16" and white 12". I bring my plants outside when it rains so these are light enough to carry, unlike ceramic pots. Will order a 14" for a new plant I bought today.

    Looks cheap
I ordered mine to be delivered for store pickup. First off pickup was disorganized, and I tried to check my item at the store but when I got home I saw how horrible it was. The wood pieces aren’t all stained the same color and it could fit together better. Biggest issue is that the pot came with spots all over. And it’s very noticeable now that the plastic pot isn’t all the same color. The pot also doesn’t fit well in the stand. There’s a about an inch gap all around. With the price, discoloring and trouble of in store pickup I don’t recommend this product.

      The wood stand is AWFUL!
The wood stand assembly is terrible! The wooden pegs do not stay in the holes. Whoever came up with this plan to assemble this stand did an awful job! Not worth the money paid for it!

Looks beautiful and it was really easy to assemble. However, it’s very expensive for what it is and the stand falls apart easily if it’s not glued together; on multiple occasions when I tried rotating the planter of just shimmying it, the stand fell apart. 16” planter holds a lot of soil, so that was a very heavy thing you have to catch quickly.

This is a great planter. The wooden stand offers a nice look for getting the planter elevated. The planter comes with everything need to assemble the stand. This is very easy to put together. The stand is very sturdy. The planter is a nice addition to my existing planters. The planter is good choice for a plant that will vine over the sides. I would strongly recommend!

The green color is solid through the plastic. The wooden stand was easy to assemble. The tool-less assembly only took a few minutes. The stand is quite sturdy. Two of the stands had a few spots on the edges where the wood is not smooth. The rough spots appeared to be due to manufacturing because they were covered in stain. The rough spots are only visible during assembly and are not visible once assembled and viewed as intended; and they certainly do not affect sturdiness. The pot is not as thick as I had hoped, but appears sturdy. These are intended for outdoor use in direct sun, so time will tell how long the plastic and wood finish holds up to the sun.

Easy to assemble. Red color is solid through the plastic. The wooden stand is sturdy and was quite easy to assemble. The tool-less assembly took just a few minutes. Made in the USA! The pot is not as thick as I had hoped. Some of the stands had some chips on the edge of the wood, but they are only noticeable while doing the assembly, and not when assembled and viewed as intended.

This planter comes without the stand put together. I had difficulty getting the cross bars together but my son was able to in a simple move. Yes, I was frustrated. At first, the stand moved apart when I put the container in it. It is now secure. I showed a picture of the inside to see the drain holes you can punch out if you are to put the container outside. Mine is inside, so I did not punch out the holes and there is no leakage. I am very happy with this planter.

This planter is perfect for any plant that has it's own ugly plastic pot. It is lightweight plastic, but doesn't look cheap. The wood base assembles easily in a matter of minutes. You simple insert the wood dowels and push the pieces together. It comes with an extra dowel just in case you lose one or break one. It doesn't have drainage holes so if you have it inside, you'll need to have another pot inside of it to lift up and pour out water. If it's outside, I imagine you can drill a few holes.

Was looking for a few extra pots for the back patio. This looked like a good option and it'll certainly do the trick. It's nothing fancy just a basic plastic pot (with knockouts in the bottom if you want it to drain). The plastic isn't super thick, you can flex it's pretty easily just with your hands. The base needs to be assembled, but it's just a series of wood pieces that join with dowels. It holds together okay if stationary, but if you plan to move this around I would likely opt to use a little wood glue to permanently join it together.

This is a nice looking planter. Putting together the stand was a bit of a challenge though. It was like putting together a wooden puzzle. The problem was my fault. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure it out. The instructions were in the box, but there were folded inside out and a smaller sheet. I thought it was just part of the packaging. As I went to toss it, I noticed it was folded and when I opened it, I found it was the instructions. As I read them, it was easy to assemble. Most importantly, my wife likes how it looks.

Good for indoor or outdoor use. The planter adds a little height to your foliage to fill a greater vertical space. Minor assembly is required....I needed to use a soft mallet to get the wood cross pieces to go together. The white inner planter pot lifts out easily when needed but is otherwise held securely. If needed for outdoors, several knockout tabs in the bottom of the pot will allow for drainage. Also, dirt wipes away from the white exterior cleanly.

I got another planter for my garden. This is a plastic container with wooden stands. The planter is well suited for indoor use. You can grow house plants directly into the container. Just remember to drill drainage holes. Or you can use the planter, and put another pot in it. The planter is very plain and simple. It comes in green and furniture-finish wooden stands.

Terrific look and size. The red stained wood stand paired with a simple black pot is a cool, complimentary, modern look. It comes with simple assembly instructions which only take a minute, but be sure to have some wood glue on hand. The stand is held together with wood dowels, but it comes apart easily when moving and glue is not included. I have two of these under a porch awning where, although they may not get rained on, they will get blasted with direct sunlight. Nothing included confirmed that these were outdoor planters, so I hope the stands will handle the elements. The pot is regular plastic and seems like it should weather fine. There are no drainage holes for outdoor use, but they can be drilled. Overall, I love the look and predict they will endure for a few years.

Very attractive and stylish. The solid wood stand assembles quite easily without the need of hardware or glue. It is stained in a glossy, dark stain with a red hue. I did expect the pot to be ceramic, however, the matte plastic pot makes this lightweight and easy to use. It looks nice and it is nice to keep the pot from sitting directly on the floor. The one feature that I do not like is the lack of drainage built in to the pot. I see that there are areas in the bottom where drainage holes could go, but I'm not sure what to do about the drainage other than placing a clear plastic tray beneath the stand (which doesn't look very nice). I do wish that a drainage tray had been built into this pot stand somehow.

I love this planter with the wood stand. I was thinking about using in the house but it doesn’t come with a saucer for the excess water that drains away so this will be using this for flowers out on my deck this summer. Unfortunately I don’t believe that the wooden stand is waterproof so it will have to be placed somewhere out of the rain. You might be able to find a saucer that could fit between the legs of the stand.

This planter came with no instructions to help me put this thing together. It has no actual stone in in it, but the planter is stone colored plastic. The stand comes with pegs to hold the wood stand together, but I will need to glue them to keep them from falling apart. It is much smaller than I thought, but it is a nice looking planter. There are no drain holes in the bottom and apparently there are knock out holes but they are difficult to knock out

Beautiful Charcoal Gray Planter. The planter is sealed with no drain holes, but it has provisions on the bottom for knock-outs should you prefer a planter that drains like one that would be outside and might be subjected to rain. The Wood Stand supports the planter nicely. The wood base does require assembly. There were no instructions on how to do this, but it is very easy to figure out. I did experience a little difficulty getting cross braces to mate together. They were a tight fit. I would recommend gluing (glue not included) the wooden dowel pins so the base won’t be coming apart every time you move it. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the finish on the wood base. The fit & finish of the wood base is better suited for a covered patio than for indoor use.

The planter was received well packaged and contained. It’s the perfect size for a larger indoor plant. The planter does not feel flimsy and once it is full of dirt and a plant, it should be even more secure. Very easy to put together. The colors are very neutral and will complement any room. The only disappointment is that the planter does not have a self-drain bottom so if you want the water to drain after watering the plant, a draining plastic saucer will need to be added.

This is a 10 inch Medium Hopson Burnt Red Planter with Wood Stand from the Hopson Collection by Bloem. It is very easy to assemble the stand by using the instructions included. It only takes about 2 minutes to do. The planter is made from Polypropylene plastic resin and the stand is made of wood. Planter can be use inside or out but the stand it is recommend to keep indoors. The pot has premade knock out holes for easy draining. This planter will hold up to 3.25 Gallons and is 10 inches wide X 7.5 inches on the bottom width and 13 inches height and the wooden stand is 10 inches tall. This is a very pretty stand and planter. I plan to use mine for this new plant I have showing in the picture below.

The Hopson planter and stand are a quality product The planter is a five gallon size and can be used indoors or outside, there are knockout holes if you want whatever you plant to drain. The stand is easily assembled but I would recommend using some glue on the Dow pins to ensure they don’t come apart. The stand is recommended for indoors only. It’s time to do some planting.

The Bloem Hopson medium 10 in. pebble stone planter with wood stand is a very attractive planter and stand. I was able to assemble the wood stand with very little effort. The planter fits into the stand snugly. I like the fact that the planter has holes for knockout on the bottom and you can open as many or few holes as you wish. The pot is raised off of the stand slightly so drainage is full and complete. This planter and stand will look great on my porch this spring and the colors are perfect. The pot size is perfect for porch summer flowers.

The Bloem Hopson 12 inch charcoal gray planter with wood stand is perfect for our covered patio. The pot is large enough to hold a number of colorful flowers (when the weather warms up) and I can easily create drainage. Even though it seems to be more suited to indoor use or under cover outside, the wood stand is UV protected. The stand is easy to assemble. The planter's charcoal color is virtually the same as our dark gray shutters and deck. This planter and stand would also be great inside your home. For the price, it is really good quality.

Liked the look of this pot with wooden stand, but was disappointed when it arrived. Seems cheaply made. It is a 12 inch bright white plastic pot. No drainage but you could drill holes in bottom, but then it would be difficult to get a pot saucer to fit underneath since it is in a stand. The wooden stand was easy to put together using wooden dowels. But the wood is very delicate. When I put one of the wooden dowels in, the wood started to split. Then there was already a spot that was split when it arrived. If I were to use this in the house I would have to glue the two cross pieces of wood together so it would be easier to move to be able to clean around. Think it will go outside on the porch for the season. Not worth the price.
