Two of the stands had some spots where the edges of the wood were rough. The rough edges are most likely due to manufacturing, as they were covered in stain. However, they are only visible during assembly and are not visible once assembled and viewed as intended; and they certainly do not detract from sturdiness.
The pot is not as thick as I had hoped, but appears sturdy. These are intended for outdoor use in direct sun, so time will tell how long the plastic and wood finish holds up to the sun.
