These deck railing containers are fantastic!

I tried several different flower boxes before I found one that would fit on my narrow balcony railing. Love these! I was worried that they might not be steady, but once you fill them with dirt and your plants, they are not going anywhere! Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

The 26" length is very nice. The planter at first seemed slightly unstable on top of my balcony railing, even with dirt and plants in it. After the recent rains, they are heavier and more "settled in" now. I gave it four stars instead of five because the rise in the middle to accommodate for the railing makes for a shallower space for putting soil or planting in it. The two sides provide deep "pockets" for soil, but because of the unevenness inside, planting is a bit of a challenge.

These planters really brightened up our deck! We punched out the drainage holes and zip tied the planters to the rails before filling, to keep them secure. Love them!

The planters were a great size and they did not require alot of soil. Five plants were more than enough to fill the pot. You need to punch out the holes for the water to drain. I took a thick paint stick and cut it about 5 inches and wedged it between the deck and the pot. This will secure it for heavy rain and high winds with a tight fit.

The planters fit perfectly on our deck rails and hold lots of plants!

I have 4 of these on my deck, they are the exact same color as in the description (burnt red). I purchased them from the local hd. I went back to purchase another and they were sold out. I checked back often to see if they were back in stock, no luck. So, I came to this hd site and ordered the exact same one (burnt red). What arrive in the box was not burnt red, it's an ugly orangish/red. I'm assuming if I get a refund and order another, the exact mis-match color will arrive. See the attached photo. HD should contact this vendor and tell them to stop shipping orangish flower pots. They must be the defective ones that didn't make it to the shelves.

This is a very spacious pot that fits nicely over my railing. High quality, beautiful color.

This is a great fit. Due to the portion that sits on the rail the middle depth of the planter is shallow and about 5 inches deep so you can only plant small flowers 4 inch pots only but it fits my wife rails nicely and look good

I really liked the style & price more than any other I've seen at stores and online. It was large enough for 1 large plant & several smaller ones, with room for them to grow. It's very sturdy, sits tightly on railing (so no tipping), has a large soil capacity, and drain holes to keep the roots from drowning. I also really like that there are 3 different options to accommodate width of railing, so I'll be able to move it to just about any location! Love it & recommended it to friends & family.

Was looking for something to make the post not look so tall and these are perfect & look very nice on the deck rails. I just finished putting zip ties to hold them in place, can't wait to plant flowers in them. Ordered 8, in the color peppercorn, online & used curbside pick up. Very convenient.

These are a terrific alternative to the traditional deck rail planters that hang off the front of the railing and need to be secured with screws. They good great but the best part is that you can move them around the deck or porch so they can get some sun or shade as needed. Mine are very sturdy on the rail and it would take a lot of get them knocked over. Don't forget to punch the holes in the bottom for drainage. I am very happy with my purchase plus they have so many colors I was able to exactly match the porch columns.

Love it ! Nice design, nice color (grey) and perfect fit for my desk rail. It has small holes on the bottom, which is perfect to drain the excess water from my geraniums. Was shipped to the store and ready for pick up in less than 10 days.

As expected

I bought the blue to keep with my blue backyard accents. I bought 1 23" and 3 12" pots. Used zip ties and used a screw driver to punch out the holes for drainage.

Super easy instillation with zip ties. I bought four of these for less than one of the other option I was considering. They hold about a half a bag of potting soil. They have small drainage holes that let go of excess water but don't spill dirt the way coco planters often do. I'm excited to see how they hold up over a couple of years.

These planters are perfect for our deck, made well and look great. Just what I wanted and as an added plus are made in USA.

Great service, nice product. Using them for strawberries plants. I decided to stain my with the same stain as the deck. They came out great! Will be buying another .

Sturdy and withstands storms. Only consideration is that there are no drainage holes.

I love this planter. It fits securely on deck rail and did not have to make any adjustments. I returned to Home Depot and purchase two additional planters!

Really nice item. I had purchased one to use as a herb garden. Works really well. Fits the railing of my patio. I liked it so much i got a second one. Drains well if it gets too full. Seems to hold a lot of plants. I love the 2 that i have on my patio.

Stupid me. I thought that since the 24" planter fit on my railing then then so would the round one. No, it fits up to 3? Not 5.5. Oh well. Lots of colors are sold out.

Nice and secure but white is really bright white. If I had to buy over again I might have picked a less dazzling color, Will get some trailing plants to cover it. However it is secure and does not need anything.

Didn’t work for me & returned it.
